"The quality of the workmanship was good. The crew was friendly and respectful. However, they did destroy one screen and a window blind from the window they used to throw the old carpet through to the ground. I did not point this out to A & D because they did not follow up with a "post installation walk-through" as stated in their contract agreement. In summary, the sales staff did appear to be a little distant once they received my payment checks. Also, I did notice a statement lying next to the new roll of carpet that their costs was .06 cents per foot and .54 cents per yard. If that is the case I feel quite foolish -- and taken -- accepting to pay the price they offered. My wife also insists that the installed carpet in not the same sample that we selected in their showroom (she was at work during installation). Caveat Emptor."

"From the beginning at the store, I had such a great experience. Doug took the time to go over all my questions, he helped me stay within the budget I was looking to keep. Jessica came and did the measurement on the house. She also answered all my questions. When Jessica and Josh delivered my flooring, they walked through the house to ensure Josh knew exactly what was going where. Josh took the time to ease my mind on all my questions. When they came to install, all the guys were awesome. Friendly and doing their best for me. At the end of the day I got updates from Josh as to what was done and making sure that I was liking the work done so far. "The sales person, Donna, came to my house very quickly after I called to measure the room.   She helped me to choose a product in the sales room and ordered it in good time. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The installers came on the day promised, took up the carpet and put down the subfloor.  The next day they came and installed the new flooring.  These three men were very polite, worked steadily and cleaned up completely.  There are no problems at all and the floor looks excellent. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Donna called after the work to be sure I was completely satisfied. <br />"

"We had lots of questions, and Ed Hodge, the owner, was very patient and answered them all. We had checked with other flooring retailers, and decided the service we received at Dalton Direct, along with the competitive pricing was enough for us to choose them. The installers showed up when they said they would and it took about an hour and a half to rip out the old carpet and install the new carpet.  They did a great job and the carpet is beautiful! <br />"

"The first day install of the walk in door was ok except the door was hinged to open out in the wrong direction. The build of the barn style bay door did not go well and essentially 3 hours after my brother suggested how to attach the plywood on the outside they did so and stopped for the day. When I complained as I considered the men not able to do the job the boss Randy came out on Monday with the same 2 men and claimed that we didn't specify how the door should open and stated that there would be no extra charge to do the build right. We (my brother and I) explained "Old School" side hinged bay doors were built out of wood and not just a metal frame with plywood put only on the outside as they thought. The workmen then went to work building the door as we asked with interior and exterior casing over the metal frame. The owner Randy Tudor had claimed when he was there that he didn't have his notes with so could not say what the price was. When the job was complete he failed to come to get payment and sent a text message indicating the total was 1625.00 for the job. Today, Wednesday after texting back and forth a couple of times he showed up and provided a receipt for the agreed sum of 1200.00 for the job and accepted payment stating he wasn't going to argue the price."
