"Bernard did a great job pouring a slab for a shed and trenching and installing conduit for future electrical wiring. He was responsive, on time and did good work, following the drawings I had prepared and making changes where necessary. Bernard went above and beyond, stopping by the house and hauling away a pile of garden debris, without me asking just because he was in the area. I would highly recommend Bernard and would hire him again if I had any concrete or masonry needs."

"It went very well! Lewis Services is prompt and professional. They take pride in their work and do a wonderful job! We have used other lawn companies before to mow for us and they would come when they felt like it, whether the grass needed to be mowed or not. They would not do a thorough job mowing and weed eating. We are very pleased! Thank you for your dedication and hard work! Your caring attitude is appreciated!"

"This company is the best I’ve ever dealt with! They did an amazing job with my driveway and patio done in all pavers. This company does not just do pavers, that do it all.. they fixed my sprinklers, grass, planted some new trees and after job was complete.. they even finished my basement from studding the walls, Sheetrock and finally painting it as well.. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who wants one company to do it all without having several companies to do your house and not know when it will be done.. They start the work and done mess around and get the job done right, quick and keep job site super clean everyday! Don’t hesitate, if you need a good and reputable company I would recommend them as my first choice.. thank you for the great work you have done for me!!"

"He designed my landscaping. He installed a new growing area in front of the house which had nothing was just a driveway there. He installed a new slate pathway to our door.  Installed sod in the back yard and new trees, bushes, mulch. The mulching made the areas looked groomed. He gave the whole area a manicured look. It only took a couple days to do the work but he did make several trips before to make sure of his design. He did not do the work but a crew that did it. That is where we ran into a small snag as we remember what we said to him. When the crew showed got here there was a few minor hiccups in things as I couldn't quite remember things and it was a spanish speaking crew.  I had 6 to 8 other people out and they was either half asleep or just threw numbers out not knowing what they were going to do."

"I saw a sign in a driveway of a colleague and my wife and I were very impressed with the work.   I called back in June of 2015 and worked with Michael from Worden and Sons Paving and he gave me the quote, however we made a decision to not go with it due to a financial emergency that did not allow us to invest in the work.   March of 2016 I was looking through e-mails and found the quote and when I called about if they would honor the quote from 9 months earlier he said absolutely!!  Not only did he honor the quote he scheduled and within 2 weeks of inquiring we had our BEAUTIFUL new DRIVEWAY in place.   What I love the most is this is a family business and Michael was very proud of the fact that the people who are working with him worked with his grandfather.   Loyalty, Responsiveness, Quality and Efficient Work.    I feel we received the full value from the work provided. <br />"

".Its going along well. I had signed up for a years service, so they had repeated the application. I have forgotten how many treatments but I had paid for a year service. Certainly the lawn is green, but they explained to me that I should expect a major change over the course of a full year with the treatment. I give them a B and tha's only because they did explain its a years treatment, and then after that year. so the second year, so next spring, then I should see the type of green lawn that i have envisioned. I am going to withhold the grade on quality until they finish the treatments. They seem to be very responsive."

"We got their name when we first move here 12 years ago and we were looking for a landscaper that could do a pond and we saw a place called Earthtones and my husband thought they could recommend and somebody and they gave us the names of these two young men. They were just starting out and they said these are two young, energetic men that are good and they are. We have them every year. They come back and we have them doing something else, a little more landscaping and this year we have the stonewall put up and the mailbox post in. They are two young men that are so polite and so neat about their work. They just work very well with us, their costumer. You tell them what you want and they will give it to you and it does not matter how many times you change your mind. They just really nice to work with and they do really nice work."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Waynesboro, VA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
