"They poured us a large walkway on the side of the house that connected to our driveway and an 8x10 foundation for our shed. I told them my main concern was that water from the FL storms we get would get directed towards the house and pool from the walkway. Mason assured us that his guys would make sure the slope would prevent that. 3 days after the concrete was poured we had 2 days with separate huge storms that dropped almost for total inches of water. None of the water came into the garage or came towards the house. All of it flowed to the other side of the walkway and none of it reached the pool or came close to it. It was exactly what they told me it would do. Fantastic job, I would recommend to anyone. My neighbors have both asked for their information and will be setting up projects in the future with them."

"It took about a week to build. They are not quite finished. They need to pressure wash the deck and underside of the roof. One panel on the siding near the roof of deck is painted flat back instead of a gloss or satin finish like the other panels. The weather is cold and snowy so I understand the delay. We like the crew and the work they did. We would have them back."

"When the square footage of your circular driveway rivals that of your 4 bedroom house you get multiple quotes. James at Powerhouse Construction was great to work with and the finished project was excellent. He walked through all the items he was going to complete such as saw cut control joints, drilled rebar for joining to the garage, and why he uses those methods. I received 5 quotes and he was the only one to include the finishing work of bringing in topsoil and seeding after the concrete work was completed. Since having the driveway replaced, I have gotten multiple comments form neighbors and even people driving by regarding how good it looks. James and his team persevered through several unforeseen obstacles such as parts of the originally driveway being 12” thick, some areas having zero gravel underneath, some areas having round river stone (not great for compacting), and a record 4” of rain one evening that turned the job site into a giant mud pit complicating work for almost a week. James brought in ~100 tons of crushed stone which they compacted multiple times to ensure a solid foundation for the concrete. He even filled the large hole I dug for the basketball hoop with concrete as they were pouring that section of driveway (I dug the hole, set, and braced the post, but avoiding the mixing 12+ bags of concrete by hand was a nice bonus) The job did take longer than planned and there were a few equipment issues, and as mentioned weather issues, but the final product was great. No contractor can control the weather and I think leading up to the pour days I was looking at the weather app on my phone hourly. He had to push a planned pour date (Friday) due to incoming storms but was able to complete on Monday. They are not the biggest and they don’t have a fleet of branded vehicles, but they all worked hard and delivered a quality driveway for me and my family that we will use for decades to come."

At the same time we needed our front walkway removed and poured as concrete due to failing paverstone installation by another company. The process couldnt be easier. Scott gave us a very detailed quote and worked with us on options as we decided to adjust our plan between quote and installation. The crew was responsive and easy to work with. They answered all of my questions (and trust me I have a lot) and worked with us on making sure the grade of the patio and the size of the walkway were exactly what we wanted. They were clean and efficient and very helpful when I asked questions. The patio we installed was 700sqft with a walkway and an expanded front stoop. We had stamped and colored concrete and couldnt be happier with the results. We are spending so much time outside on the patio enjoying their work."
