"We interviewed several independent hardwood installers and chose Classic Flooring Solutions on the basis of their presentation, proposal, and description of the crews that were long term employees or family members. Jacob described in detail how he would match the level of the existing tile that would abut the hardwood in three locations and how he would provide transitions to carpeted rooms and carpeted stairs. Estimated time was 3-4 days, in actuality completed work in just under 3 days even with change to scope of work (new baseboard requiring multiple cuts to fit, rather then reuse existing baseboards). Caleb was project supervisor and had 2-3 assistants throughout. Total of about 700 sq ft. I had much of the furniture out of the area except for a large china cabinet, a large bookcase and a spinet piano, all on sliders for carpet. The crew moved these pieces multiple times (without added charge) during the work flow and substituted felt sliders that I had ready. Arrived promptly as scheduled and worked with minimal break time. Part of the proposal was for a trailer dumpster for debris which was easily placed in my driveway and did not prevent me from using the driveway for parking. Workmanship was meticulous and job site was cleaned at the conclusion. Time from acceptance of proposal to work beginning was about 6 weeks, but since flooring was custom ordered, wait time from arrival of material to job was only about 2 weeks. We do not have a showroom because we prefer to pass on the savings to our customers by keeping our overhead low. Quality Wood Flooring offers installation of wood flooring and also refinishing of existing floors. We can also provide and install Luxury Vinyl Products. We can provide the raw material with job site install and/or finishing. We also can provide pre-finished flooring, or you can provide the material and we install it. We prefer not to show color samples when bidding the job site finished flooring, instead we show the stain colors on your floor after sanding, in your lighting, to get the true custom color you desire. We are a member in good standing of the Better Business Bureau. We service the entire St. Louis and Metro east area. Free estimates over the phone, or in person, if you are within 50 miles. We are insured and most of our business is from word of mouth. We book up quickly, so please try to contact us as soon as possible to get on our schedule. We try to accommodate our customers as much as possible, and will work some weekends to fit people in, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee to be available for you, unless you give us adequate notice.
