"Well, I knew it was time for a new roof. Based on its age and just looking at it, I knew it. I had put off this decision for quite a while now, but yes, now was the time to finally invest in a new roof. Would I rather spend the money on a Hawaiian vacation or perhaps a new Zero Turn Lawnmower yard toy? Maybe, but if I am thinking clearly and correctly, not really! I knew a great roof replacement would add great protection not only for the home, but for me and my loved ones. It provides peace of mind, dynamic curb appeal, and one less big worry. That was amazing, and along with their many exemplary reviews, I had to check them out further and made a call. Jim DelPrete, President came out to visit with me in short order and assessed my particular and specific roofing needs and presented all the relevant options and recommendations and some needed do’s and don’ts. After speaking with him, I was confident about their services and capabilities, the materials, and the process, steps and timeline for the job. I also felt that the project cost was very competitive, reasonable, and fair. From contract to materials delivery to house prep and to the completed roof and cleanup, the project went along quite smoothly. I am very pleased with my new roof. I really am and I would like to publicly thank Jim, Elias, Sean, Samantha, and the whole crew. The date proposed was mid October but the actual work was much sooner (low slope roof) and completed in several hours The roof has now gone through several seasons without issue. "I had an excellent experience with RB Farina's work replacing old wooden gutters and old wooden fascia and soffits with new aluminum gutters and PVC soffit, fascia, and molding on my small house. I must have caught things at a good time, in late winter, because it was just 8 days between my posting my job description on Angies List, and the dumpster leaving my driveway after the work was completed. The original bid was completed at the original price, with some extras (significant touchup painting, and a quick repair on the 2nd story shutter of my neighbor who was kind enough to let us use her yard for ladders) done with no upcharge. I did not seek multiple bids so I cannot say whether the price was high or low; I counted on the fact that the bidder could expect competition. Weather was good for working and we had no ugly surprises from my very old house, so the work went pretty smoothly. I had the pleasant experience of finding that for each of the materials and methods that I either knew about or researched, in every case the Farina team was using top quality. They are good about communication: calls to the office, or by cellphone to the estimator, always were answered live or resulted in callback in a few minutes. The onsite crew was polite, responsive, and very professional. (They also looked like they were enjoying their work, which is always a good sign). The office was very proactive: the written bid arrived quickly, and every check I wrote resulted in an emailed invoice/receipt within a couple hours. For this they are using a platform called HouseCallPro, which automates the workflow considerably. (Why shouldn't buying this kind of services get as good a workflow and email trail as, say, ordering a toaster on the Internet?) . I worked hard to make the jobsite easy to work in (moved stuff away from the house, took down my window screens before they came, ran a wire out the window to provide 20amp electric power, provided a map of where the electricity and water are on outside of house, provided outside access to a bathroom), and the crew was appreciative. Day 1 was demolition, Day 2 was carpentry, Day 3 and 4 were gutter hanging, sealing, and painting. Once they got the gutters up and sealed, they ran the hose into the gutter to check for leaks and flow before they did their final cleanup and left. After watching how they did this work and what materials they used, I have pretty high confidence that their work will last a long time,. I plan to sign up for their annual gutter/roof/chimney maintenance program so that my gutters get cleaned and somebody I trust looks at my roof."

"He arrived and knew what was to be repaired . It was replacing chingels on the roof . When he arrived he looked up and saw exactly the location of where the shingles came from . He's very knowledgeable! He went right to work . And was finished in no time . He did check other areas of the roof for me , thus was on the front main part of the house . I did question him that my husband had told me were going to have to have another roof done in the very near future . I had discussed this with crieg and he said no you don't. Your roof is in good condition right now , and you've still got some years to go here before that is to be done . It was a big relief to me to hear this . This man is very knowledgeable with his line of work , and I trust his judgment. I highly recommend him to anyone . Very friendly to talk with ."

"Excellent communication! Perhaps the best I’ve seen from a contractor. While waiting to get installation done, they checked in with me on dates and always called me back if I had questions. The took a look at the roof and suggested fixing the chimney first . We had that capped and some bricks replaced with a contractor they referred. The following week they came and did the roof and leaf gutters in 1 day. They cleaned up very well afterward. When I saw a lose shingle in the yard this spring, I called them and they sent someone out to look right away (it was just an extra shingle). The were great to work with and I would not hesitate to hire them again."

"Joe and his team did an amazing job! We are very pleased with how nice our house looks with the new roof, windows, back door and vinyl siding. Joe is a very good communicator and did a nice job helping us select materials. He mounted samples on the house so we could select our color. Once the work got started, everything went smoothly. The crew arrived on time every morning (for about three weeks), worked diligently through out the day, and left our home in a presentable state at the end of the each day. They were friendly and polite. Joe, the owner, also checked in on our house everyday and was very accessible for communication, either at our house each morning before we left for work or any time by phone or email. Joe also called us right away when there was an issue. There really weren't any issues except that our house is old and didn't have the correct foundation underneath the existing roof and siding. Joe explained to us and showed us the trouble spots, explained how it should be fixed and the extra cost this involved. We are confident that everything was fixed and installed correctly and we no longer have to worry about the past problems we were experiencing. Joe's electrician was also very good and did a great job with our outdoor outlets and light fixtures. Our neighbor told he was watching the crew work one day and was very impressed about the quality of their work - very detailed oriented. Their attention to the finishing details was excellent. Once the house was finished, we even saw a car pull over to take some pictures because it looked so good!"
