One year later, the second project involved widening of my driveway with pavers. Once again a huge ficas tree was removed and Terra Pavers arrived to a huge hole filled with roots. The crew was spectactular and took extra time prep the area and install the base so as to avoid future settling. Terra Pavers specializes in doing things correctly, doing little things to make your job look special and ensuring your satisfaction. "Let Jose know my budget was $2500. After going back and forth I agreed to $2800. After they started work I was asked to fix additional items. Examples: There we 2 sprinkler heads that were broken ($40, per head). That turned to 4 springler heads. The charge was $475 for that. I have three small back yard entrances where white stones were put down. That charge was $900. I was told the sprinkler timer was only working on one zone and needed to be replaced. He indicated the digital ones could be up to $800. I said I wanted nothing fancy. Timer was not replaced. I thought this was included. The palm trees were supporsed to be trimmed as they were touching the house. As they were leaving I had to reimind them about this. The total cost went from $2800 to $5000+. I felt the prices were high based on agreement of $2800 budget, even with additional items. I had a irrigation specialist come and he said the timer is not broken or stuck in zone one."
