"Excellent, no problems. My car was new the first year I used the service and there has never been any damage during the transports. The men picking up and delivering the car have always been pleasant and cooperative. Both Ely and Guy at United Transport has been highly responsive to my needs. I would highly recommend this company."

"Tri Co Contracting did an excellent job on our roof. Jeff and Luke are professionals, and easy to ask questions and talk to. Our roof is beautiful and was done in one day, they covered everything all around the house. They used a big trailer for the tear off instead of a dumpster that trashes the driveway. All the roofers were polite and worked hard and cleaned up any mess. No nails left behind. They gave us a good price and I looked on their website and checked out their work on other houses. I would highly recommend them to anyone to have work done on their house by Tri County, thank you. Dave Cerny"

"These are just a few of the photos of the complete job that Accent Exteriors called acceptable. These were taken DAYS after they completed the job. You can see the paint is chipping and flaking off, this started the day after they completed. You can also see that the texture the applied looks NOTHING like the previous textures, and on top of that there are CHUNKS of stucco left in our yard, and finally the door they painted to match my house started peeling the SAME DAY! Luke even admitted they didn't use the correct paint. Finally, he tried charging us 50% more than he quoted us with ZERO change orders or any conversations with myself."

E & M Painters was begun by my parents Edward and Marian Brunson in 1973. In that time I am proud to say we have not had any dissatisfied customers. A large amount of our business is generated from previous customers happy with the longevity of the painting work we had provided them over our 39 years of service in southeastern Wisconsin. They have recommended us to their friends, neighbors and employers.\n We have many references that are also available upon request. To view some customer reviews visit http://www.contractors.com/pros.EMPaintersLLC.3206299.html. We are also a Better Business Bureau Accredited Business with an A+ rating.\nAs the saying goes; “It’s all in the prep.” At E & M Painters, LLC we couldn’t agree more, but as always, were constantly looking for better products to use, as we firmly believe a painting company is only as good as the products they employ. This is true with brushes, paint, and especially primers, especially here in Wisconsin.\nA few years back, with the rise of several companies promising unrealistic warranties, and ‘never paint again’ paint systems, at E & M Painters, LLC we couldn’t help but wonder what these companies were using for products. We searched and searched, and eventually found that their magic bullet is the use of bonding primers.\nBonding primers, IMHO, should/can be used in nearly every instance of paint failure. The common primers that are available are latex, oil, and shellac based. All three however, have drawbacks from coverage, to mil thickness, to stain blocking, to elasticity.\nE & M Painters, LLC firmly stands behind XIM Peel Bond for all of our jobs. Although it is double or triple the cost of most primers ordinary painters use, I was taught long ago that, in the big picture, “paint is cheap, labor isn’t.” The XIM product lines address all of the cons of the aforementioned primers with the following features:\nMil Thickness- XIM can be applied up to 30 mil thick, without any sagging or ‘mud cracking’. This is important because it allows me to confidently promise my customers that, even with the most damaged surfaces, I can deliver a smoother finished surface than the next guy.\nFast Drying- Peel bond dries quickly and can be top coated in 60 minutes or less.\nWeather Conditions- Providing the substrate is dry, XIM can be applied in extreme temperature and humidity conditions.\nAdhesion- XIM’s bonding primer is different from regular primers because it penetrates that substrate on a microscopic level to create a secure bond with any surface.\nElasticity- Peel Bond’s latex base is nearly 300 times more elastomeric than regular primers.\nCleanup- XIM is latex based, non toxic, and cleans up with soap and water.\nStain Blocking- XIM’s thickness and penetration usually neutralize bleeding, tannin, and knothole stains, but in the event those still peek through, XIM makes an additive called XIM Bleedstop that addresses this.\nIn short, our exterior projects live and die by this product, so unless your painter is using the exact same preparation, primer, as well as top of the line Benjamin Moore, Pittsburgh Paints or Glidden finish coats, the comparison is apples to acorns. You've tried the rest now hire the best!!

"Terrible. The work that was performed was pretty good, but the coordination, scheduling and customer service from the PM was horrendous. A 8 to 10 week (quoted) project took 30 weeks. Only one product held up the project for an extra week, which was no big deal. We were responsible for the demo, appliances, countertops and tile floor which there were no delays. The PM never called or set foot onsite during a 30 week regarding $65K project. I had to re-explain the project to every JM staff and sub on daily basis. Weeks and weeks go by with no responsesfrom the PM (I have it all documented), subs didn't show up as scheduled and then show up unannounced/unscheduled. Terrible customer service and so sad as it could of been easily remedied with a couple of simple calls and timely responses."

FAQs for traditional stucco repair or partially replace projects in West Allis, WI

Minor stucco fixes—like sealing small cracks or adding fresh caulk—often wrap up in an hour or two. Larger jobs that call for cutting out damaged sections, installing new lath, and layering fresh stucco can stretch to three or four days because each coat needs time to cure. A pro removes loose material, cleans and dampens the area, applies a bonding agent, and builds up new layers, matching texture and restoring the wall’s weather shield.

Watch for a stucco surface that stays damp days after a storm, develops dark stains, or feels soft or spongy under light pressure. Inside, moisture rings, peeling paint, or soft drywall around windows point to the same issue. Any of these red flags mean water is trapped behind the siding, and it’s time to call a stucco pro before rot or mold sets in.

Give your stucco a once-over every spring and fall. Semiannual checks let you catch hairline cracks, stains, or damp spots before they snowball into pricey repairs. Keep a flashlight handy, look closely around windows and doors, and call a pro if you notice anything soft or discolored. Staying ahead of minor issues protects both your curb appeal and your home’s weather barrier.

A pro starts by scraping away loose material, then cleans and lightly wets the area so new stucco will stick. After brushing on a bonding agent, they build fresh layers, letting each coat cure before adding the next. The final step is matching the texture and color so the patch blends in and the wall regains full weather protection.

Think of repair as a patch: the pro fixes only the visible crack or hole. Remediation goes deeper—crews strip away the compromised stucco, correct the root problem (often water or mold), then rebuild the wall. If tests show structural rot or trapped moisture, remediation is the safer, longer-lasting route; otherwise, a straightforward repair often does the trick.
