We have been in business since 1978 serving Livingston and surrounding counties putting our customers first. Action Asphalt is a family owned and operated company. We offer an asphalt based and environmentally friendly Polymer Modified Emulsion for seal-coating that is environmentally safe for people and animals!! For more information explaining the problems of carcinogens in seal-coat products please view the above link in a local news cast with Guy Gordon. Action Asphalt only uses products that meet and exceed the regulations in this new Coat Tar ban. Hamburg Township and the City of Ann Arbor have recently joined other municipalities banning the use of carcinogen seal-coat products. "It rained bad on day before scheduled day to perform work. Joseph called me and rescheduled for later in the week.(weather permitting). The day was perfect. The work crew arrived on time and got to work right away. Additional subbase was required due to the fact that there was not enough existing for the width of the drive and the under lying soil conditions, this was an additional charge,but this possibility was already discussed earlier. The job price was reasonable and my Neighbor (A retired concrete and ashalt contractor) said "Not Bad"."

We pride ourselves in having the ability to lead customers through jobs ranging from small maintenance issues to large, new & renovation construction or landscape projects.
"After coming out to inspect the job, they told me they'd send out other contractors to get an accurate quote ready for me. I required both irrigation fixes along with lawn leveling due to DTE trucks damage. They did send out someone who checked my system, then a follow up with another contractor to check the grading. After which they ghosted me. Tried to contact them, even provided missing information to get the quote done, but never heard back."
