"I have a slate roof and a rubber roof and had difficulty finding someone who could do a proper inspection with repairs. I stumbled upon Doherty Slate Roofing in Swampscott, MA. Several houses have slate roofs in our town. I have to say, he did an excellent job in repairing my rubber roof as well as the slate roof, which had missing slates and broken slates. Jason was spectacular. He also repaired the Boston Saddle hips and the flat copper roof. The work was done promptly, and the cleanup was very, very good. I am excited to write this review as we need people like Doherty to give us honest advice and understand this unique roof for repairs. Doherty took extreme care not to drop anything in the garden. The clean-up was excellent. I am ready for the winter and do not worry about leaks and ice damage from the missing slates."

"Beantown was great to work with. They are responsive, polite, organized, neat, and they do great work. After dropping off the dumpster, they replaced the roof on my Dutch Colonial house in one day. After the roof was finished two other teams came in to replace all of the siding and rebuild the front portico and side deck and also add a deck extension. "All Under One Roof recently replaced my roof on a 3-story, 200+ year old Federal in Newburyport. It was a big job that entailed removing 3 layers of rolled roofing/asphalt shingles; removing original skylight & taking down old dormant chimney to roof line and roofing over both; installing ½ “ plywood and asphalt shingles over new roof. I can’t say enough good things about All Under One Roof. They had a great crew and did a fantastic job. In fact, my neighbor across the street who had a birds eye view of work in progress, then hired them to replace his roof. John Lanzafame, the company’s owner, is a jewel. He’s very professional, responsible and communicative – a “take charge” guy in the best meaning possible. I was completely comfortable and confident that I was in good hands, and did not have to worry about micro managing the work. I should also point out that All Under One Roof began work on date scheduled (a month in advance) and completed the job (start to finish) in short order. I highly recommend All Under One Roof. Have dealt with various contractors for numerous issues over the years as I own several rental properties, and this has been my most positive experience by far. Kathy Quill"

"We had a great experience with On Top Roofing. They returned my call for a quote request within one day and had someone out to give an estimate within a couple of days after that. We obtained several estimates, On Top was the only company that actually climbed up on a ladder to really look at the area of concern and where work needed to be done during the estimate. After we received the quote, the work was done within the scheduled time and completed as agreed. I would definitely consider On Top again for future roofing needs."

"These guys are fantastic! This is the second time I have used them and both experiences were excellent. Last year we had a major leak in a slanted part of our rubber roof. Fixed perfectly. No leaks again. This year we had other parts of our roof leaking (1870 house. Lots of roof pitches and types) they identified the issues, replaced two small roof areas on bays areas, replaced all the broken slate tiles and replaced very old and non-functional down spouts. Ramon and Wilson are kind, conscientious and very reasonable. Their services are highly recommended!!!!"

"Did a wonderful job on my roofing repairs. Showed up timely and was very professional."

"It went very well.  The owner, Richard Farina, suggested using an "architectural" shingle, which is heavier and should last for 30 years as opposed to 20 for most other types of shingle.  They installed Grace ice and water shield up to a distance that we requested.

We had one small leak this past storm on the front porch from the front corner of our bedroom dormer.  They were very responsive and came back the same day called and applied additional caulking between the roof shingles and the siding shingles, where a gap had been created.  I was pleased with their prompt responsiveness."

"He arrived and knew what was to be repaired . It was replacing chingels on the roof . When he arrived he looked up and saw exactly the location of where the shingles came from . He's very knowledgeable! He went right to work . And was finished in no time . He did check other areas of the roof for me , thus was on the front main part of the house . I did question him that my husband had told me were going to have to have another roof done in the very near future . I had discussed this with crieg and he said no you don't. Your roof is in good condition right now , and you've still got some years to go here before that is to be done . It was a big relief to me to hear this . This man is very knowledgeable with his line of work , and I trust his judgment. I highly recommend him to anyone . Very friendly to talk with ."

"My roof was leaking in my attic. Luckily I caught it pretty quick. The guys at F.S exteriors came over and fixed my roof. The roof on the house I had bought was pretty old and we eventually replaced the whole roof through them. Great guys and super efficient."

"We called Power Roofing when our 3-year old membrane roof began leaking. They sent someone over within 24 hours, quickly identified the reason for the leaks (defective installation by a different roofing company), told us the necessary fix and how much it would cost, scheduled the job, ended up coming a week early to take advantage of favorable temperatures, and invited me up on the roof (twice), first to show me the problem and then to take a look at their work once they were done. They honored their estimate even though the job took longer than expected. And the leaks stopped. An A+ experience from start to finish."
