However, all the workers after that arrived on time, did excellent work, and cleaned up after themselves. They even vacuumed the little pieces of carpet after installation. The gentleman who did our flooring took the time to talk to me about different product to repair our basement floor in preparation for linoleum installation. <br /> This is the 2nd time I have used Randys and I've been extremely satisfied. "New walls were built using paneling that matched existing paneling.  I had asked for a 3-foot-high box with removable or hinged lid to be built around the sump pump to keep the cat from playing with it; Jamie recommend a closet instead of a box, which was acceptable to me, and will prove to be a better choice when I have the sump pump discharge rerouted away from sanitary sewer. <br /> Sump pump failed overnight during construction.  I had not moved in yet, so I was glad that the workers altered me.  With my authorization they had a new sump pump installed, removed the soaked carpet, and ran dehumidifiers to dry out the basement. <br /> One door was installed opening opposite my request, but this was too minor a detail to ask for a correction. <br /> New doors and trim were stained and varnished, and all messes were cleaned up completely.  Very happy with the work.  Solar tube (skylight) in bathroom is wonderful!"

"The existing basement walls have paneling which Jamie and his crew were able to match. The door frames were stained and varnished to match the existing door frames. The Sun Tunnel skylight in the windowless bathroom looks so good that it could be an original part of the house. All construction messes were cleaned up with the exception of some sawdust in the garage. <br /> The carpenter who built the walls discovered one morning that the sump pump had failed and the floor was flooded. (I had not yet moved in.) They cleaned up the water, removed the damaged carpet and ran dehumidifiers to completely dry the basement before completing the walls. That work plus a new sump pump which they installed accounted for about $1100 of the $5500 total. <br /> One of the four doors was installed opening opposite direction from how I requested it, but that seemed too minor an issue to ask for a correction. It won't cause any problems."

"Laura was the project manager and the consultant. She was very attentive when I told her what colors I liked and what features that I wanted to include in the remodel. She came back with appropriate choices for me. She did all the shopping for me and let me pick from five or six different design choices. She was very willing to work with local contractors as well as bring in contractors that she knew to be reputable. The local contractors I knew personally. The contractors that she brought in were very respectful of my home and they worked very hard. She had brought in some innovative ideas that were well appreciated. She was conscious of keeping the project moving along. They wasn't much down time and she kept it moving along as quickly as possible. I would undoubtedly recommend her to anyone. Very easy to work with."
