Our house, from 1903, was built with a field stone foundation and hadn't had any serious foundation work since the mid 1970's. We hired LBJ to clean up the grout between the stones on the inside, and based on the work they did brought them back for a complete foundation repair with poured walls on the outside. Before they started we had holes that you could see the daylight in the basement. Now it's all closed up and solid. My research indicates this kind of foundation work adds about 20% to the value of a house. This job was expensive but well worth it."

He gave us great advice about how to go about repairing our front porch that was composed of brick and flagstones; he suggested replacing the brick with bluestone, which was in keeping with our front stair approach to the front walkway. He told us the flagstone walkway and stone wall could be repaired. John arranged for his team members, Brian and JC, to begin work on our schedule. The project went exceedingly well. We were told the work would take 5 days; it took 6 days because of some small issues along the way, e.g. rotted wood where the porch met the house, the mason's delivery truck left an oil spill on our driveway that needed to be removed.
