"We had inspections and estimates from four highly rated companies appearing on Angle's list and on other sites. Each provided a bid for the same work with similar or identical materials, and found a high degree of consistency among the bids. All four diagnosed the problem as requiring the replacement of the entire roof for the best and most lasting outcome and they proposed nearly identical steps to do the job. All recommended replacing two skylights along with the roof, adding ridge vents in sections where there were none, and noted the likelihood of needing to replace plywood decking in at least some areas. However, Paragon stood out from the others by virtue of the thoroughness of the initial inspection, including dozens of photographs from the exterior and interior (attic), and the care with which the proposed work (both foreseen and potential) was explained, described, and justified. Moreover, once the line of communication was established at the first visit, Mauricio remained available via email, text, and phone for any and all follow-up questions and concerns. The open communication continued through the scheduling, completion, and follow through of the project. Periodic updates, with step-by-step photos, were provided during the work. Such openness was very much appreciated in this situation where the end project was much more involved than originally thought. Working around the weather, the job was completed on Easter weekend, approximately a day and a half on site, and from our perspective the crew was careful, professional, and efficient. "I contacted Adelphia via Angies list due to a leak in one small roof over a section of our home and the need to have the upper roof reviewed to determine if repairs were needed. Joe came out when he said he would, reviewed the situation, took pictures and was able to show me a variety of issues. One roof was very soft and had a hole in it which he showed me from an upper window. He told me they could come out within a week, which was acceptable to me. That night Joe called and indicated that it was supposed to rain the next day and if I was very concerned about the leak they could come out and cover it in some way. This was very thoughtful and great customer service. It was a minor leak that was hit or miss based on the winds so I said not to bother. The next day, I also got a call from their office to confirm the job which was very professional. Adelphia showed up when they said they would and got the job done in the estimated time. Joe and his team were prompt, courteous and very responsive. They also did a good job of explaining what was to be done and they went above and beyond all within the estimated price.
