"First I should mention that we had our windows installed at two separate times.  The front half of our house was done in the fall of 2011 and back half was done in the summer/fall of 2012.  The initial meetings with the sales person were fantastic.  He was very informative, easy to talk to and was able to answer all of our questions.  He also helped us get financing for our windows since we were unable to pay for them out of pocket at that time.  The first installation was smooth sailing - no issues.  The second installation also went smoothly with the exception of the final step of financing.  Several phone calls were made to Integrity's main office and we were told it was being worked on but nothing was moving forward.  After several phone calls we finally called our sales person and he came out the next day to chat with us and see what was going on.  Our issue was fixed within a few days!  Overall they have an exceptional product (triple pane windows) and their work is stellar.  We are easily saving 40-50% on our monthly heating bills in the winter!  The guys were timely and worked quickly.  During the entire installation, I was informed of what was going on and was shown how to "clean" the windows, open them and how the locks worked.  I use the work "clean" because they only need wiped down with a wet towel/rag- no cleaning product!  Only issue, and it was a minor issue, was getting the final part of the financing in order with Integrity.  However, I would definitely use them again!! <br />"

"We contacted our insurance agent.  They sent an adjuster out who told us the amount they would pay. We contacted 3 people to give us estimates. Haldeman's Construction gave us the best estimate working with the amount the insurance paid.  They gave us samples of materials and colors of roofing and told us the quality of each.  We set a date approximately 2 months from the estimate date to come do the work.  They came right on time to do the work.  They tore off the old materials and inspected the roof for other damage.  Put on the new roof materials, clean up all old materials including the roofing nails that dropped around the house.  We paid them and they left. <br />"

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in West-milton, PA

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
