"Back in the fall Al from MGS Construction LLC came to my property to give a quote to do a complete roof job, removing all the previous shingles, putting on the underlayment and then put on GAF shingles. They also did me a solid by cutting out some rotted siding and put on some weather tight material until I can get my home properly side. MGS was not the lowest price, but not the highest either and Al sold me on MGS being an Elite Master Contractor where the roof is guaranteed for 50 years, and the labor is guaranteed for 25 years. "It went very well.  The owner, Richard Farina, suggested using an "architectural" shingle, which is heavier and should last for 30 years as opposed to 20 for most other types of shingle.  They installed Grace ice and water shield up to a distance that we requested. <br /> <br /> We had one small leak this past storm on the front porch from the front corner of our bedroom dormer.  They were very responsive and came back the same day called and applied additional caulking between the roof shingles and the siding shingles, where a gap had been created.  I was pleased with their prompt responsiveness."
