"RUN from this company. Do not hire them. I’m October 2021 we hired metro to install a new wooden privacy fence. The install went good. Within 5 days about 2/3 of the face boards began to warp. One board warped similar to a banana. My wife called them and spoke to the manager (David I believe). He said : “I got you” and agreed to fix the defective boards. About a week from that, the crew came back to “replace” the warped boards. When they arrived my wife asked them why they only brought 20 because it takes at least 9 boards to build a new gate. They said: “that’s all we were given “. A few days after they “replaced” the warped boards; the replacement boards warped as well. So I was back where I started. A few days later I called metro to complain again. As I was talking to the rep, it sounded like the phone was snatched away from her. Now I was talking to the manager (David I believe). He told me that wood may warp and this was stated in the contract I signed. I told him I did see that and acknowledged wood MAY warp, but the wood warping within 5 days is very unreasonable and wood that is processed correctly shouldn’t warp immediately. David advised that metro won’t be performing any further repairs. I informed him that I refuse to pay the balance of what I owe them. David then began to yell so loudly and fast that I couldn’t understand what he was saying. He then hung up on me. A few months later metro files for a lien on my property. Several months and phone conversations with their lawyer and we reach an agreement. That coupled with the fact I wanted them to go away. The main reason we hired them was because they were the cheapest and they gave a military veteran’s discount. I’m sure metro will rebut my complaint with a song and dance and will explain that somehow it is my fault they installed wood that was defective. I will NEVER hire them or recommend them to anyone. If they’ll screw over a military veteran, they’ll screw over anyone. They’ve shown they don’t care about their products or care about the customer. They’ve shown that rather than reach a fair resolution we can both live with, they’ll yell at customers then resort to legal action. I should have hired a company that is more well known and one with a better track record. Hire a company that won’t use sub-standard materials."

Our bathroom was extremely outdated, and Missi Construction elevated the look, feel and use of our bathroom in a way that was beyond what we could have envisioned. From the very beginning, we were informed of each step along the way of the bathroom remodel, the time it would take and communicated the process throughout. Missi took into consideration the elder members of my family who will need help in and out of the bathtub and installed grab bars, which will be so helpful! Our bathroom window had an issue with water, and Missi Construction went above and beyond to repair it. We highly recommend Missi Construction for any home remodel. "It started off very professional, but once installation took place, there was zero communication and very poor service to fix issues. There was a very detailed discussion during the estimate, but they were not followed once the fence was installed. They installed the wrong style of the front gate and to add it was cracked as well. The rear gate was installed at a different angle than the rest of the fence and had a huge gap underneath that a medium-size dog could get under. The fence itself was very dirty and covered with white dirt that wouldn't come off with just spraying water. I tried multiple times after the fence was installed to get someone from the company to come to see all the issues. They finally sent someone after 3 weeks to try and clean the fence. They did an average job and I had to go back and redo it. The rear gate was addressed after about a month or so and their fix made it worse. They changed the opening direction of the gate and now it is more of a pain to open than having a gap underneath. During all this, multiple times I tried to communicate with the company and either they would never respond or they said, "oh, yeah we will take care of that", but no one would show up. It was not until 2 months after installation that they finally showed up to replace the broken front gate. Bottom line is that I will never do business with Miles Fence Company again. Their communication is horrible, they proved that paying them was the only thing important. Once they were paid the communication went from almost nothing to definitely zero. The issues I have with large gaps underneath the fence, as well as a rear gate that is almost non-functional, are still not resolved after 5 months. So I guess I will have to go to another company and see if they can fix the poor workmanship of the Miles Fence Company. The only reason they received a D-rating instead of an F is that they started off being very professional."
