"From the quote to the follow up I was so happy with the entire process. The work is not contracted out. It was done by the family who owns the company and their employees. They were quick, considerate and accommodating to the fact I had other work going on and they had to deal with dig safe because of the gas pipeline in my yard. "I called Escala and they were very quick to respond and happened to be in the area the day I called, so they came over during lunch time.  There was some initial discussion around the issues I was facing  (Possible water damage in the bathroom from the Ice Dams which built up over the winter. )  Although very professional, the discussion turned to the window sill conditions (replacement windows were done, but the company which installed them didn't bother to check or mention the condition of the will sills which were rotted from age. 
In the end I never received a quote from Escala.  He took a look around and never contacted me again.  I was dssappointed with the lack of follow through.
