"history: I bought a ceiling fan install online for Power Trip Electric (PTE).  this always makes me uneasy for several reasons:
1. some random dude (ok 99.5% of the time its a dude) coming into my home
and
2. some random dude coming our home and figuring out we are of the gays.
but we needed a fan installed and and I tossed caution to the wind. I'm so carefree like that.
Jerry called and we set up an appt, he was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO flexible, which was awesome b/c my schedule is SO NOT flexible.  score #1 for Jerry.
He showed up on time at the house - 6:30pm on a Tuesday - he came to the back and met our big-ish dog. ok fine he's a big dog... but Jerry was great and after a cookie, our dog had a new friend.  (he gave the dog the cookie, Jerry didn't eat the cookie himself)
Upon meeting me and my partner, Jerry didn't bat an eye or flinch. On the Q****- O- Meter, Jerry was off the charts. YOU GO BOY! his personality immediately put my partner and I at ease, which is perfect. Being gay and women and having a service dude in the house can be anxiety provoking. Not with Jerry though.
He laid down a tarp and was done in a jiffy.  He explained certain things to us, was through and very professional.
I love supporting the average person doing a great job with their own business and we will hire him again, no doubt.
Cheers!

"Ishiah, who is the owner of Anchored Electric is great to work with. The day I posted the need for an Electrician he immediately called me and set up a time to conduct a site visit. He conducted the site visit a few days later and gave me a price quote the next day. His price was fair so I hired him to do the work. I have additional work to be done at my home and will have Ishiah, provide a quote for that work too. I look forward to working with Anchored Electric again."

"Sean and the team including Amanda did a fabulous job with our backyard which was a mess when we bought our home. We were looking to set up a yard for our daughter to play on. We decided to go with this team because of the price, their willingness to work on it on our schedule, and their knowledge. We also talked about doing tree work which we got a quote for as well. We will be considering using Sean and the team again! Don't hesitate on hiring this great of a team. ?"

FAQs for outdoor lighting plan and installation projects in West Warwick, RI

Permit requirements for outdoor lighting vary depending on your location and project scope. Simple fixture replacements don't require permits, but projects involving new electrical circuits, extensive trenching, or significant system expansions often do. Local building departments establish these requirements, and many professional electricians handle permit applications as part of their service package.

The timeline for outdoor lighting installation varies based on project complexity. Basic systems might require only one to two days for complete installation, while extensive lighting networks with numerous fixtures and complex wiring needs could extend to a week or longer. Weather conditions, property accessibility, and soil characteristics can all influence how quickly professionals can complete your installation.

Outdoor lighting offers both practical and aesthetic benefits that many homeowners find valuable. Beyond enhancing nighttime visibility and security, well-designed lighting can highlight architectural features and extend outdoor living hours. While installation represents a significant investment, quality lighting may potentially increase property appeal and could contribute to overall home value.

Some outdoor lighting projects are suitable for homeowner installation, particularly simple solar fixtures or low-voltage systems that plug into existing outlets. However, projects requiring new electrical connections, permanent wiring, or integration with home electrical systems demand professional expertise. Electrical work carries inherent safety risks, and improper installation could create fire hazards or code violations.

The operating cost for outdoor lighting depends primarily on your fixture types, bulb selection, and usage patterns. Energy-efficient LED fixtures consume significantly less electricity than traditional incandescent or halogen alternatives. Controlling your lighting with timers, photocells, or motion sensors can further reduce energy usage by ensuring lights operate only when needed or beneficial.
