"Freedom Fence & Deck did a fantastic job replacing our 35-year-old wood fence with a beautiful white vinyl fence. Jim (the salesman) was very easy to work with and accommodated all of our design choices. We found particular latches and handles that we wanted to use, and they agreed to install them for us. The contract process was quick and straightforward. After about six weeks, they were ready to install the fence. They sent out two crews at the same time, plus the owner Steve, who worked alongside them. With seven people working, they managed to finish the entire job in just one day! Our old wood fence was completely removed in about 15 minutes, and then they meticulously installed the new fence, setting all the posts into wet concrete and making sure all the sections were straight. At the end of the long day, when one of the locking gate latches wasn’t working right, Steve patiently worked on it until eventually we realized the part was defective, so he replaced it with a working one. The fence materials are extremely high quality—the vinyl feels very thick and sturdy, unlike the kind sold at the home improvement stores. They responded quickly and provided a quote to replace a failing retaining wall and gave us options to rehab 2 patio areas full of rotting boards. As part of the work on the retaining wall, it became evident that our porch was a safety hazard and needed to be replaced. SBC immediately shored up the porch, and Steve worked with us to re-do the designs and reallocate materials to rebuild our porch, rehab the patios and keep the costs reasonable, including going the extra mile to get certified so that we could maintain the warrant on our roof.
