"It went extremely well. The team that came out to build the canopies were extremely diligent and worked very hard to give that professional accuracy and feeling of complete integration to the house. The guys were clearly proud of the products and worked diligently to customize them. The end result was better than I thought possible and we were delighted to see how it integrated with the house and in fact the kitchen extension was so great we are considering extending that to cover the whole back of the house."

"This Dynamic Duo is AWESOME!! The patio came out far better than I had even imagined, from both the color and shape perspective as well as the unbelievable trim design detailing. Our neighbors were so impressed, they got another job while doing ours! I would recommend them for any size job, they keep the workspace neat and clean and pay incredible attention to detail! <br />"

"Louis came to our Pensacola vacation home and provided design and landscaping plans.  He's very creative, can visualize the finished product and is talented at selling his ideas to the homeowner.  He produced a project plan under budget but overran by 20% due to yard infrastructure (sprinkler and well pump system).  His team made a big mistake uprooting some plants that we agreed would stay and he replaced them without any issue. <br /> Palm Source has followed up with us after the installation and stands behind their landscaping products and design.   <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Westville, FL

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
