"We hired proper power electric to update lighting and switches in our home. Forest and foster showed up on time. They were professional and in sync with each other. We added recessed lighting, fan ,and outdoor lights to our new home. Forest made suggestion to add another switch down the hallway to make it easier to turn off lights when going to the room. Both were knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. They even helped my neighbor with their solar panel system. We had a great experience and will definitely hire again."

"Nick was late to our first appt, but he rescheduled his next day to accommodate me first thing.  He asked me what I wanted to do and thoroughly explained everything he would need to do to complete the job and made nice recommendations.  On the first floor he had to cut out pieces of dry wall to be able to run wire because there was no existing fixture.  It was very cleanly done w/ minimal cut ins.  Though they don't do drywall repair they put the cut out pieces back in place so there weren't holes in the ceiling and wall.  The 2nd story fixtures they were able to install with no intrusion.
They even checked and changed a couple lights out in the kitchen at no extra cost.  They worked very cleanly and were friendly and professional and their price was very fair and competitive.  I would definitely recommend them and will use them in the future.

"Connected Technology was so very easy to work with during my solar installation process. Five (5) companies were interviewed for the project, not all submitted an estimate or followed up as promised. Conversely, Connected Technology was always responsive and stood out to be the best because of their customer service. They did not disappoint. They stayed on top of the project, kept me informed at every step and answered all my questions. They provided photos of the work-in-process and the completed project without a request for it. I was able to see how the roof was penetrated to secure the panels without climbing a ladder. Actual roof work was done in one day. The panels are not visible from the front of the house. The conduits are hidden in the attic and under the eave with little showing on the exterior of the house. I am really happy that Connected Technology did this job. They will be doing the battery backup installation after the backorder is filled."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Wheatland, CA

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
