"My primary complaint is cost and not service. The service provided was very good. Precision Garage Doors were able to come out promptly on the next day (Saturday) after I called them at 4pm on a Friday. The technician replaced the torsion springs and even repaired a few minor items on our garage doors at no additional charge. The technician was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. That being said, the price that they charged for the torsion spring parts. The labor charges seemed reasonable, but they wanted to charge $250 for *each* torsion spring. I could not find online anywhere where a torsion spring cost more than about half of that ($125). When asked why these torsion springs cost so much, the technician was sort of vague. In following up with the company, I generally got the run-around. They could not provide the manufacturer's part number, and the manufacturer that they use only sells wholesale and will not disclose the price that they charge. No one could really justify the outrageous price that they were charging for the parts, but I needed my garage door fixed as soon as possible, and I didn't have time that weekend to fix it myself due to other obligations. Overall, if you want the problem fixed promptly and properly, and don't mind spending a lot of money, then Precision Garage Doors will do the job for you. If you are handy enough to install torsion springs yourself, you would save a ton of money."

"Great company to deal with. Totally customer focused. My wife was not comfortable with me installing our security system myself, so internet based alarm companies were a no go. I contacted our existing company, Vector, Vivant, ADT & 1st Security. I met with all of the reps. Jeremy from 1st Security came to our home right away to conduct a detailed security assessment. He listened to our needs and our concerns with our existing landline based security system (through Vector), and he designed an effective yet practical and affordable set up for our home. Their prices cannot be beat- trust me I did my homework. Larry came to install the new security system and he was also great to deal with. Knowledgeable and patient- he took his time to explain how the system worked and gave us his cell # in case we had any issues. Kudos to 1st Security USA! "After a break-in, I needed to get my doors replaced. The reviews on Angie's List helped me select Supreme Window and Door with added confidence. From start to finish, the process was easy and the pricing fair. All the staff were professional and courteous.
The sale representative (Albert) was knowledgeable about the product line. He answered my questions and worked with me to find a product right for me and within my budget. He explained the different features and options - but i never felt pressured. Eric and the rest of the installation team did a beautiful job installing the doors: they were professional, neat and kept me informed throughout the job.
Besides just "selling and installing" my doors, Albert and Eric went above and beyond the written contract and were gracious in volunteering to help me with a few handyman-type small jobs I needed after the break-in: helping to install a new motion-detector light and fixing a broken wooden gate. These were small "chores", but the extra effort they took to quickly install a new backyard security light and to fix the broken gate helped me feel more secure after the break-in incident. Knowing about my situation with the break-in, everyone at Supreme Window and Door worked to expedite the process and get my new doors ordered and installed as soon as possible.

"This is the first review I have ever submitted for a contractor. However, when a company offers this outstanding level of service they have more than earned a five star rating! After a severe windstorm damaged my roof, I called my insurance company and then researched / contacted several roofers in my area. As a result of so much damage most roofing companies were extremely busy. Walter Brown was the only one who had their staff working diligently to take calls, and somehow managed to fit me into their schedule even though they were inundated with emergency work. Two workers arrived as the rain started and tarped the damaged areas. Everyone at Walter Brown consistently replied to my emails and continued to stay in touch with me as we worked through the color selection and scheduling of replacing my roof. I researched brands of shingles before John Cisna came to my house to discuss the brand that they install. Finding out that they install the brand that I had found was the highest rated brand on the market confirmed that they had high standards both in the products they use as well as in the quality of work that they do. The crew who did the job was absolutely amazing, professional, courteous, and meticulous in making sure every detail of the roof was perfect.
