Bob helped us purchase the new door, providing advice and guidance on materials and other considerations. Bob clearly takes pride in his work and did not hesitate to take steps that, while adding a little more effort on his part, resulted in a higher quality finished product; there is no question that his work left our home in a better condition than when he started. Bob also gave clear explanations about where his efforts might be wasted, saving time and money now, and providing insight on projects that might be necessary further down the line (even those that would not be within his scope)."

"Mr. Handyman replaced a door and its moulding/trim inside our home. The initial repair was mediocre but acceptable. Over time problems began to emerge with the moulding and threshold. Even though I didn't contact them about the problems until a year later, within a couple days they scheduled someone to redo the job at no charge to me and the final results were great. Even though the initial job wasn't done well, they took care of the problem with zero hassle. They made good on everything—and that's what counts. I'll definitely hire them again!"

He's helped us with the following: - interior painting (walls, doors, molding/trim) - refinishing of hardwood floors - kitchen remodel (new countertops, backsplash, sink/faucet, refinishing/painting of cabinetry, appliance install) - custom door install/replacement (including widening a doorframe) - outdoor shower repair - next up is staining our fence I don't think there's anything we've asked of Mack that he hasn't been able to do himself or outsource through another subcontractor. Whatever home project we have in mind, we'll always reach out to Mack for help!"

"Bertie came out to look at the gate on a Wednesday night. He pointed out that he could also replace some wooden pickets on the fence which I needed to have done but didn't think about asking him as getting the gate repaired was more important. He came out on Friday morning and repaired the gate and replaced pickets as well as secure a section of fencing. He did a great job. Bertie was very polite and punctual. He kept in contact with me the entire time. I would definitely hire Bertie again and I highly recommend him."

"I called Abington Locksmith on Friday morning - 9/17/2021. They accommodated my request and were there within an hour or so. Both Ryder and Dan were great. They patiently spent time trying to get the locking mechanism "unlocked" instead of breaking the lock. They finally managed to unlock it without any damage to the Schlage Lever Handle Keyed Entry Door Knob. Both of them were thorough and very courteous. And above all, they priced the job very reasonably. I would reach out to them again in a heartbeat!"

"Gregarious, thoroughly professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and cost conscious, Rich Adams' Adams Door Service will be very hard to beat.  Rich, himself, does the work, as well as handling phone contact and setting up the appointment.  We'd lost our garage door opener after an electrical storm and a power surge that fried the circuit board.  I'd originally thought I'd need a new door opener, but Rich was quick to locate a burnt out circuit board.  He then offered to "give" me a used one he had, free of charge.  He also replaced all my old, 25 year old metal rollers with brand new nylon ones, cleaned the tracks, sprayed them with a product he had that he said was more efficient than WD-40 (which he ALSO did not charge me for), repaired a broken bracket on the door, pointed out problems with my pulleys and cables (originals that were also 25 years old), showed how they'd been mounted incorrectly by Sears 6 years ago and offered to re-do those as well.  I thought I was looking at maybe $250-300 minimum, but Rich quoted me at $190.  I'd noted he offers senior discounts and he said "Are you also a veteran?" (which I am) and he gave me a 2nd discount.  The whole nine yards cost $150 total and I made a good friend who is also among the three best contractors I've ever employed.  You simply CANNOT go wrong with Rich Adams and Adams Door Service.  If you have an electric garage door opener, even if you don't need service now, bookmark this guy for future reference.  He is simply the best there is and I've thoroughly reviewed ALL the A rated garage door guys here on Angie's List.  Thank you, Rich!  WELL DONE!!!! <br />"

When it was ready, Jonathan came out within a few days and installed the frame, door and moldings in one day. He also replaced the alarm sensor, made sure proper flashing was installed and took the old door away. He answered all questions that we had.
