"Called for an estimate and the company came out and provided a free estimate for the spot I was looking to install a patio. Kyle provided a few options as I didn't know exactly what type of stone to go with. The estimate ended up coming in over $1k cheaper than the other companies. The job took a day to do and it was all coordinated over email because of my schedule. I just left the gate unlock. It looks great and is everything I imagined. "Freedom Fence & Deck did a fantastic job replacing our 35-year-old wood fence with a beautiful white vinyl fence. Jim (the salesman) was very easy to work with and accommodated all of our design choices. We found particular latches and handles that we wanted to use, and they agreed to install them for us. The contract process was quick and straightforward. After about six weeks, they were ready to install the fence. They sent out two crews at the same time, plus the owner Steve, who worked alongside them. With seven people working, they managed to finish the entire job in just one day! Our old wood fence was completely removed in about 15 minutes, and then they meticulously installed the new fence, setting all the posts into wet concrete and making sure all the sections were straight. At the end of the long day, when one of the locking gate latches wasn’t working right, Steve patiently worked on it until eventually we realized the part was defective, so he replaced it with a working one. A certain kind of handle had to be ordered, and as soon as it came in, he came back to install it. The fence materials are extremely high quality—the vinyl feels very thick and sturdy, unlike the kind sold at the home improvement stores. And the new fence has completely transformed the look of our property—we’ve already had several compliments from neighbors. The whole process couldn’t have gone better, and I’m happy to recommend Freedom Fence & Deck for all your fencing needs!"

"My job entailed removing a large section of concrete driveway in front of my garage and replacing it. The job was started on approximately the schedule upon which we agreed. However, once the old driveway had been removed, two weeks passed before the new one was poured, with the accompanying mess. Concrete was splashed on masonry (with no attempt to remove it) and the final work was not finished until 4 months later. In the meanwhile, a 30 foot crack developed in the new section of driveway. I am not sure the agreed-upon expansion joints were installed and I fear that the new section will be in the same condition the old one was in a few years. These factors could be overlooked if it were a cheap job, but this company charged top prices (perhaps even higher than normal) and I expected a first-class job."

"The 2 guys that did the work were awesome!! I have a pretty tough lawn to aerate!! Front yard is a steep hill!! Guys worked really hard!! Jeff the owner was awesome too answered all my questions and sent his guys out to do the work with in a couple days after I agreed to use his company!! Very pleased!! Will use him for my lawn care from now on!!!"

"SBC did great hardscape work for our neighbors, so we called them when it was time for us to have some work done. They responded quickly and provided a quote to replace a failing retaining wall and gave us options to rehab 2 patio areas full of rotting boards. As part of the work on the retaining wall, it became evident that our porch was a safety hazard and needed to be replaced. SBC immediately shored up the porch, and Steve worked with us to re-do the designs and reallocate materials to rebuild our porch, rehab the patios and keep the costs reasonable, including going the extra mile to get certified so that we could maintain the warrant on our roof. We now have a wonderful, maintenance-free outdoor space. We have a number of other outside projects, and SBC will be our first call."

"We were extremely happy that we chose this company. Mr. DiFatta was the most professional mason of all the masons we asked for an estimate. He came over promptly, and he explained the reasons behind each repair thoroughly. His crew also had high standards for professional work; if something didn't look right near their repairs, they fixed it at no cost even if it was not part of the original contract. Mr. DiFatta also offered very affordable fixes to a few minor problems on other areas of the house (this was not an upsell -- these were problems that we thought would be too expensive to fix this year, and he did them for a fraction of what we expected). We would absolutely call this company again for masonry in the future. They are not necessarily the cheapest option, but their professionalism is well worth it; you often get what you pay for."
