He found the source of a sneaky roof leak and redid all the flashing around my fireplace chimney (which another contractor did poorly the first time), repaired a crack in the chimney cap and redid the grouting in the stack. He completely remodeled my bathroom, which required demolition out to the 2x4's, removal of rotted subfloor, mold/mildew mitigation, laying custom tile and wall treatments, plumbing, and the creative solution for many, many problems he discovered along the way. Recently, he repaired a section of my roof that took some damage from a fallen tree. I've also relied on him for many smaller "honey-do" projects. He is a dream to work with, always professional, leaving the worksite cleaner than when he found it, and communicating his ideas clearly with no suprises. He is my no-brainer go-to or any future improvement projects needed for my mid-century home. ."

"Just finished our second project with Updike Bathroom Remodeling- 2 quartz double sink bathroom countertops & custom 6" backsplashes as well as some miscellaneous caulking. They are absolutely Beautiful!! Alex and Arturo did an amazing installation job!! Dan (owner), Jeremy (in sales), and Sheri ( office manager & schedular) all were very helpful, offered great suggestions, were attentive to detail, & provided great customer service!! Highly recommend Updike Bathroom Remodeling! As a matter of fact we have already contracted a 3rd project with them to have a tiled shower installed in our hall bathroom as well as replacing the tiled floor. Great company!"

"Our bathroom was 20+ years old and needed updating. Mr. McAvoy came and asked what we had in mind. He was great at listening and understanding not necessarily what we said, but what we actually had in mind. He made some suggestions to help make updates but keep the cost down, e.g., a way to keep the very large mirror in the bathroom so we didn't have to replace it because of one small area. He also pointed out some things that we could do to help match the area around the tub (which we were keeping), to the new shower and countertops. Once we had the plans, we went into the store and worked with Dawn to pick out tile, shapes, colors, doors, faucets... it's amazing all the decisions you have to make for a bathroom. She was extremely patient while we swapped out countertop and tile colors, and always explained why she made some of the suggestions she did. They scheduled us several months in advance but still started right on time, and finished before the expected end date. Mr. Donnie oversaw the workers and kept us up to date at every step. Even the painter - she matched the new paint in the bathroom to the existing paint in the bedroom. It was perfect. I can't describe the transformation, everything was just so much nicer than anything we expected. I'm SO GLAD we listened to everyone who helped us - we could not have created such an amazing final product on our own. I would have them back to do anything in our house. They were clean, did not leave even a drop of water or paint anywhere, and even came back to install a shower hook that we forgot to ask them to order. Mr. Donnie was very professional, answered lots of questions for us, and made sure we were happy with everything. Thank you Tremain!"
