Customers say: Quick response

"He did a fantastic job on fixing my leaning retaining wall. Took the time to describe what procedures were gonna be done on the tear down and what to expect on the rebuild of the wall. He also was very diligent on making sure all the stones were properly placed and secure. Definitely worth the money spent and most importantly the money saved in the long run! I will recommend him to others for future projects!"

"I recently had a concrete patio, steps, and a shed pad installed and couldn’t be happier with the result. From start to finish, the team was prompt and professional, showing up on time and ready to work. Their communication was excellent—we always knew what to expect and when. Once they got started, the crew worked quickly and efficiently, finishing the job in far less time than I expected without cutting corners on quality. The pricing was also very competitive compared to other quotes I received. Overall, I am very pleased with the results and would absolutely use them again for future project. My neighbor already asked for their number lol."

"It went perfectly. Tom was wonderful and so professional. His crew was outstanding! They worked so hard and are also professional as well. The work was completed in about a week. Tom was out at our house almost every morning letting us know what was going to be done that day and giving his crew guidance for the day. Tom was a perfectionist, in fact he noticed that our fence was a bit off height wise so he had his team adjust it at no cost to us. Tom has also checked in since the work had been completed to make sure everything looks good and performing as designed. Overall I recommend Tom for any of your landscaping needs. He is honest, dedicated, and best of all passionate about his work. Thanks Tom again for making our home look so much better."

"I am so pleased with my landscaping from Raindrops Hardscape! I had tough rocky ground that I couldn't do anything with despite all my efforts. Raindrops Hardscape came in and removed a ton of rock, brought in good soil and made the most elegant shape for my flower beds. The price was so reasonable and I will definitely be using them again!"

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Whitewater, WI

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
