"Quickly. The crew of 7 arrived early and stayed late to get the project completed within two days. They dug a trench along the exterior walls of the basement, put drain tile in, covered it with 1/2" rock, then filled it with concrete. Along with this, they also installed a new sump pump which was included with the price. The concrete and dirt was taken out to a dumpster they brought and put in our driveway. Cleanup was fairly good, considering what they did. The only issue we had was when they were leaving, we asked if they would come back and put the work benches back in place after the concrete dried. When we got our estimate, the person we spoke with said they would put everything back. I specifically asked if they would put the work benches back (there are 5 work benches), and he said they'd put everything back as it was before. The head of the crew said they would come back the following week after another job and put them back, but when I called to schedule it, I was told it was not part of the agreement, that they didn't usually do that, and they could do it for an additional fee. This was very disappointing because we are seniors (89 and 71) and can't possibly move those work benches ourselves. Other than that, the workmanship and product used were very good and we would use them again."

"I have some level of disappointment because Acculevel was unable to lift the patio back to its original position. That being said, I think the challenges they encountered would have been encountered by anyone else, and some of the other one-man mudjacking operations who wanted to use buckets or wheelbarrows to carry slurry back to my patio probably would have given up earlier. I chose Acculevel because they use foam instead of slurry (which should last much longer), they had a 300 foot hose solving problems with access to the backyard (I live on a steep slope with retaining walls), and I had more confidence selecting them compared to independent one-man operations who do mudjacking. Their price wasn't the highest bid I received but it wasn't the lowest. I thought it was fair given the foam is a higher quality product. The crew actually arrived an hour early, which actually wasn't ideal but not a big deal (a call would have been nice). They worked hard and I suspect they were there much longer than they had originally envisioned. They did a nice job sealing all cracks when they were done with a high-quality crack filler which most of the mudjacking guys told me they don't do. The good crack filler can be messy and difficult to work with so this was a nice little bonus. Although they couldn't get the patio back to where it was, they worked hard to do the best they could without risking damage to the retaining wall. At least with the foam they use, I have confidence it won't sink anymore."

All initial and follow-up calls were answered by a very pleasant receptionist who scheduled the initial assessment and quote by Bill. Bill promptly arrived at the property at the setup time where I described the repairs we sought. Bill understood that the house was part of an estate and that we sought only to do necessary repairs. He promptly provided a quote and optioned different repairs for our evaluation. On the day of the repair, I was texted that the work crew was on the way to the job site. The two gentlemen on the work crew kept me informed while the work was being done and cheerfully answered any questions I had. They finished the job in roughly four hours on a very humid day and cleaned up the job site at completion. I was very pleased with the work that was done, the cost, and the communication with Ken-Rich over the entire cycle of the job. The entire Ken-Rich team is an exemplary model for what customer service should be!"
