"This regards a huge repair job after a pipe burst in our rental condo. It did happen a couple of years ago (December 2014) but it remains in my memory as a truly positive experience. The water destroyed the drywall in several rooms. We contacted Gary through Home Asvisor Handyman for the repairs. He contacted us soon after. When he arrived little did he know we actually had several projects that we needed done so we could sell the condo. Gary listened to our needs and then organized how the projects would be completed. The projects included the drywall repair for the living room, dining room, repair of the pipe that burst, added an access door to the plumbing area where the busted pipe occurred, installed tile flooring in the kitchen, replaced all the cabinets in the kitchen, installed a new kitchen light fixture, organized the replacement of the counter tops, reorganized the kitchen plan so the refrigerator and stove were not side by side, installed a new kitchen faucet and fixed the faucet after a couple of weeks when the interior piece was found to be defective, remodeled th entire bathroom tiling on the floor and walls, installed a new tub and fixtures, replaced the entry door and screen door, replaced all the interior doors, painted the entire place, fixed a longstanding problem for two side by side 8 foot windows by removing them and repairing the woodwork as well as refininshing the walls afterwards (in the middle of winter!--impressive). He helped us make decisions and worked with whatever selections we made in such a timely manner. He was in contact with us throughout the projects and provided us all the receipts, estimates, and final costs for each project that he undertook. He even would send picures as the projects progressed or were completed. He was so easy to work with and we appreciated him and hos work immensely! We contacted four vendors (two of whom we had used before).  Our install was a bit tricky, and some companies would not even quote the job.  Mike was the most responsive, and gave us the most options.  I researched third party reviews on the product lines he proposed.  All seemed to have good reviews.  This is really hard to find in either windows or sliding doors!  During the sales process he was informative and presented several options, but absolutely no high pressure.  So easy and pleasant to work with. The installer was very professional and really knew what he was doing.

I was astounded when after he finished, he sat down and gave me a full tutorial on using the system. He showed me all of it's capabilities, and answered my many questions . I could not believe how much easier and more up to date this security system was to use than my old one. I have had many, many technicians in my home from the prior system, but absolutely none were as knowledgeable, personable, efficient or professional as Larry. He would not leave until I was comfortable, and even then advised me to call if I needed anything or had more questions. He was amazing.!!! A few days after my system was installed, I triggered a false alarm. The monitoring station called right away and did not hang up until assured that all was well. I did not have to wait or try to call them and get put on hold like with my old system. I only wish that I had more houses for them to install their system into, but since I don't, I plan to refer them to everyone that I know. 1st Security is affordable, state of the art and comprehensive. They are honest with no fine print that you have to worry about! I sincerely appreciate Jeremy and Larry and sleep so much better because of them . Thank you 1st Security!!!"
