"We hired Barrier Construction to take care of some stucco issues and repair some structural damage on our house. They were great to work with. They were able to deal with both the structural issues AND the stucco issues, while all other companies we spoke to only dealt with one or the other (meaning we would have to hire and coordinate multiple contractors) and they did a great job. They even noticed and corrected some cosmetic issues (for al fee) that another company had created when working on the house. Dennis Nagel (The owner) took lots of time to present paint colors and discuss them with us.  I would have chosen the second sample, but after seeing others, was happy I hadn't rushed.  We got exactly the color we wanted.  We were also surprised at the "prep" time the team spent on our house.  We hadn't painted in a long time, and they scraped off any loose paint, fixed woodpecker holes and badly worn boards.  We were shocked when we walked around the house after the painting was completed and couldn't even tell where there had been damage.

The damage to the stucco on my chimney was way more extensive than originally thought with underlying brick damage. We agreed to a new fee - I could see the extensive damage. Even with the new fee it was more than reasonable. The final repair work looks great. I am really pleased. I think Jose addressed what could have been a very serious issue down the road.
