"They did a good job on the sewer clean out. They also checked all the pipes during the water heater installation. They were really tidy - very good at cleaning up after the job."

"There was water backing up (draining extremely slowly) from a drain in my basement. Another company had tried unsuccessfully to clear it out. They said it probably was tree roots, but they could not get a camera far enough to find out for certain. They told me that they would have to tear up my front yard and maybe my fence, and probably have a big tree cut down, in order to get their equipment in to do the job. I had heard about CME from a couple of sources and called them. They told me that they would try cleaning out the pipe first and what it would cost, then see what else was needed. As it turned out, there was only some soft matter in the pipe, and no roots, and they were able to flush it out easily. The pipes were intact and didn't need lining. The whole process took only about an hour, as I recall. This was two years ago, and I have had no problems since. I felt it was money well spent, and it certainly relieved me that I did not have to have my yard torn up or spend much more money having a tree cut down."

"Pipe looked clear after completion of job.  Discussion of options were given to prevent further damage and how to correct present problems of one section separating and roots growing in at seams.  <br /> Owner says he would be discussing it with the local sanitation dept to determine course of future work. (another drain was intersecting the drain line near the sewage drain--not sure what it would go to) <br /> Employee Will Beckemeyer was courteous, on time, explained what he was doing and how long it would take. <br /> Careful to wear covers for his shoes when entering the house. Cleaned up after job completed. <br />"

"We had a potential problem with an outside downspout drain that needed to be addressed prior to closing on our home.  We had called several companies over 3 weeks who each said  they would come and never did.  We called Jim's office and explained the time constraints.  He returned our call immediately and talked us through the problem and rearranged his schedule to come out ASAP.  I wish we had called him originally. <br />"

"We were having problems with what turned out to be a broken sewer line, causing intermittent backups and flooding during heavy rain. Two other plumbers managed to get the drain flowing again but neither gave us a definite diagnosis without a contract to dig. Nieman quickly diagnosed the problem, gave the best price by far, and initially tried a trenchless repair. That proved to be unfeasible, and the job was re-spec’d for excavation. The guys did a careful and highly efficient excavation, replaced the broken saddle tee, and brought in gravel to stabilize the backfill. Two weeks later they returned and removed the spoils. I’m very happy with the results, and that Neman honored their price estimate even with the added excavation work. My only complaint was getting the work scheduled, which took more calling (about 6 calls from me vs. two return calls) than I thought should be necessary. Otherwise everyone involved was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and admirably professional."
