"This was the first time I hired a company to prune my maturing trees; my main request was to thin them out so as to minimize any potential damage from wind or ice. The three man crew consisted of the owner/supervisor, the trimmer who climbed the trees and did the actual pruning work, and a third person who stayed on the ground to watch the trimmer and to pickup/cleanup the debris. The crew arrived on time and worked the entire six hours per the job description. The owner/supervisor offered advice on taking care of all the trees on my property as well as recommendations to consider removing two trees that were starting to show some distress.
