They quoted me $3500. I knew better. I called Bay Area Pump and Well Service right here in Apollo Beach. Wesley Carter and his son came out right on time. They diagnosed the problem as a bad check valve at the well connection and replaced it. They also cleaned out my jet pump and redid the input plumbing into the pump. Installed a ball valve. He explained to me why and how the pump malfunctioned and what he did. They were respectful, courteous and professional. Their charge for parts and service was $200 that included a service charge. They saved me a lot of money. They will be recommended to my family and friends if they need this service.They are honest and reliable."

He arrived about 20 minutes later and checked the salt container and the chlorine reservoir. I mentioned to him that one of the tubes had slipped of place last week but I was able to deal with it. He proceeded to completely disassemble the tubing system, did whatever magic he does, and voila, good as new. He did not charge me for the repair even after I asked him to.  This is truly a conscientious business that cares very much that you are happy with your service. I highly recommend them.

"This repair was a few years ago and has held up fine. The water service line from the water meter to the house was broken and leaking bad but no leak was visible on the ground. They found where the leak was, under the driveway, and replaced the water service line. They re-routed the line to a better spot and removed a non-functioning water softener and left that connection in place."
