"I met Chris Bazow, owner and president of Window
Source of NOVA, at the Loudoun and Fairfax County Homeshow in April when I was
looking for a vendor to replace our 30 year old Anderson sliding glass patio
door. This Homeshow was a great place to talk to many vendors and I ultimately
asked six of them to provide an estimate for this work. The first place that
Chris stood out was that he didn't demand that both myself and my wife be
available for a 60-90 minute presentation. Many vendors I talked with would not
even come out if I couldn't guarantee that my wife would be there. I'm not sure
why this is such a common practice, but I found it very annoying since it is
difficult to find that much free time to meet with multiple vendors given our
respective schedules (and my wife had delegated this project to me anyway ;).
Even when I explained this situation, many vendors refused to alter their sales
process and therefore were dropped from consideration (lousy customer service to
start with in my opinion).

Working with Chris on the other hand was extremely
easy. He arrived on-time for our scheduled appointment. He took the necessary
measurements and then provided estimates for various door options. He used no
high-pressure sales tactics...just gave us the facts. The price he quoted was
lower than all other vendors for a vinyl door with a wood grain interior
finish. With most other vendors, a wood grain finish upgrade was quite
expensive (e.g., as much as $1k more in some cases). The Window Source price
was much, much lower than this. Plus, when ordering this interior, you
automatically got an upgraded door handle. After talking with many vendors
(including Home Depot and Lowes), Windows Source of NOVA seemed to provide the
best overall package for a good quality, energy efficient patio
door.

I subsequently worked with Chris on a contract for
the installation, making some minor modifications to their standard boilerplate
contract. Chris had no problems working on this with me, making the changes to
the contract I requested. One example change was to include the warranty
information in the contract. The warranty on the patio door is outstanding with
a lifetime guarantee for both hardware and labor, with the HW
warranty transferable to a subsequent owner. I viewed these as important
aspects of this sale so wanted to make sure they were explicitly stated in the
contract.

After completing the contract and providing half
the cost up-front, Chris told me to expect the door to be delivered in
approximately 3 -weeks. The door arrived on time 3 weeks later. The
installation team was very professional. Chris was also there to watch the
installation that was estimated to take about 6 hours (it ultimately only took
about 5 hours to complete). The finished product was beautiful. The door
itself was very solid with the wood grain interior matching our kitchen cabinets
very nicely. The custom capping on the exterior looked great as well. I could
not be more pleased with the results.

I would highly recommend Windows Source of NOVA to
anyone looking to install a sliding glass patio door. My experience with them
was excellent. I would also not hesitate to use them for window replacements
if/when this becomes necessary."
