"I called Madison and Mike was just returning from vacation. He came out that day and started the next day as he had a job postponed in there schedule. Mike and another painter were the ones to do the work and they were extremely professional. Took 3 days to complete the job. They arrived when they said they would and cleaned up like they were not even there after each day of work. My wife and I could not be happier.

That is saying something as we have been known to have high expectations of performance. Mike and his partner exceeded our expectations. Will definitely be using him again. Already have booked him for a couple other projects once weather breaks. Billing will not change from quote unless you make changes after the fact, but he is very fair about any changes that need to be done. In an effort to make every thing was right he needed to replace some drywall. He brought to our attention and was extremely fair about the additional cost. Use with confidence."

"When we contracted with L.J. Stone several weeks ago, they gave us an estimated start and finish date. They were accurate on those. The work went according to schedule. The workers did an excellent job, paying attention to details and to clean-up. We are very pleased not only with the quality of workmanship but also with the quality of materials. The workers answered all of our questions to our satisfaction and were very pleasant to talk to. We contacted L.J. Stone for this project because the company had done a bathtub/shower enclosure for us several years ago and we were very pleased with that work. We would definitely contract with this company for other projects."

FAQs for handyman service projects in Windfall, IN

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
