Such beautiful and meticulous work in a short amount of time and all by hand. The location was also very difficult to work with but they were not phased by the challenge. "My backyard had a failing timber wall that the previous owner had propped up with posts, and had allowed it to lean into rapidly deteriorating shed. Jim's crew came in, removed the shed and timber wall, and also removed an intact but inadequate stone wall extending from the backyard to the street, a total distance of around 40 feet. He replaced that entire length with a beautiful split-faced masonry wall and poured a new concrete walkway to improve access to the backyard. Jim is the ultimate professional. He takes great pride in his work, loves to talk masonry and answer questions about the project, and is very transparent about pricing. The walkway was an add-on to the original project scope due to some unexpected circumstances uncovered during excavation, but he explained this at length and took photos so I could see why the additional work was required. I would not hesitate to hire him again or recommend his services."

"I met with Gary in October to discuss adding a granite cap to my outdoor fire pit. The original fire pit stone and mortar had deteriorated. Gary was able to work with a stone quarry and have them create a round sold granite cap to go over the existing stone. The granite was delivered and placed on top of the pit today as he had to drive a truck across my lawn and we wanted to be sure the ground was frozen. He will return in the spring to finish the work by applying mortar under the granite and he will also do some stone wall repair at that time. While this project has been long and slow, Gary always quickly responded to my text and phone messages. The cost was more than I would like, but material costs are very high everywhere right now. I will definitely work with Gary again."

"It went flawlessly. The three guys arrived on time and made fast work of disassembling our granite slab front steps, by hand. They created a new reinforced base with crushed stone and reassembled the slabs to a new level surface. They patched two concrete retaining walls. Then the attacked the 37-year dirt build-up on our large concrete patio. They cut and filled a few large cracks and pressure washed the surface so that it now looks like a completely different patio. I could not be happier with the completed results of these three too-hard-for-us projects. Excellent work by three very hardworking professionals!"
