"First and foremost, Richard could not be a nicer person. You can tell he enjoys his work and is a true animal lover. This is the second time we use Dog Containment Systems. We got a new dog back in December, and had an incident where the landscapers accidentally cut the fence and needed to get it repaired. A quick email and I got a call back from Donna. I tolde her what I needed done and she gave me a firm quote over the phone. No surprises. <br /> Richard arrived promptly when scheduled and was able to quickly find and repair the breaks. He re-flagged the yard (part of training) and spent time training the puppy. He then left us instructions on how to do the follow-on training and how to adjust the fence when we need to. <br /> Of note, I actually called about 4 months ago. Donna and I talked and she said that until the puppy had some obedience training and could understand what "no" meant, that the fence wouldn't be effective. Basically it would just be punitive and leave the dog confused. <br /> I'm glad we waited and glad they were honest about the timing. <br /> Great company. I can't recommend them enough. <br />"

As it was summer they did have a lot of jobs lined up and we had a longer wait between signing our contract and in having our fence put in, but part of this was due to their willingness to work around our vacation schedule. I do not believe installation would have been any quicker with a larger firm. In fact some expressly said when they gave us their bid it would be a longer wait then we experiences with Fence Masters. I would highly recommend this firm!"

"I was not happy with the process. Long Fence responded very nicely when i first contacted them after finding them on Angies List. Some other fence companies I found on Angies List never responded. The salesman was nice but he tried to talk me out of a cross beam I wanted on my posts. At the end of our meeting, he said the workers would put the cross beam when they came, but he did not put it in the contract. The next day, I emailed him and told him that I wanted the cross beams in the contract and he responded to my email that he would send it in an updated contract the next day. I never heard from him again. Several weeks later, the utility company came to demarcate the utility lines for the fence posts, and the surveyor said it was from Long Fence and they only had 10 days. So, I knew they would come within 10 days. I emailed the salesman and Long Fence that I did not want anyone showing up at my house if I was not home because I was afraid they would not put the cross beam and I wanted to avoid later problems. No one responded to my email. Several days later the workers from Long Fence came to my house, no phone call, no advance warning, I just happened to be home. I think they would have put in the posts and left me an envelope with the remaining payment, which he had with him. Fortunately, when I told the workmen about the cross beam I wanted, they were very willing to supply it, so the salesman was correct. I was very impressed with the workmen and the work they did and I am happy with my fence posts. But, the communication with Long Fence was terrible. If I had not been home, I would have still been trying to get Long Fence to fix my fence. <br />"

It was easy to arrange an appointment. I was very pleased and the work they did turned out well; it was repaired.  "
