"The work went quickly and smoothly.  I appreciated that Don was there both days over 95% of the time.  He was available for quick questions. <br /> It was a very hot period of weather but his guys worked hard and finished up in the time that was projected. <br /> it looks great, with the only issue being that the color of the first pour of concrete in the driveway is different than that poured the next day.  Not a huge issue, but we were not expecting that.  We have never had any major concrete work done like this before so it was a real learning experience that went well. <br /> We should have had some clarification with Don regarding when payment was due.  We scrambled around to get the money together to pay, after finding out he needed payment immediately upon completion of the work.  It worked out, but was a bit of a surprise and rush as we thought we could get him payment, next day, as his office is a 5-10 minute drive from our home. <br /> Again, not a big issue, most important was the quality of the work and that was great! <br />"

"I was not at home when Steve showed up to inspect the house. We coordinated via the phone and text messages. Steve climbed my roof and sent pictures of the issues he found. All the issues he found were minor and he fixed them as he found them. I asked him the charge and he said there wasn't any charge since it was so minor. He did find a problem with the chimney. There is a hole in the frame and he told me up front he could not fix it, but gave me the number of someone who could. I am very impressed by Steve's professionalism and no pressure attitude. When my roof does need replacing I will be giving the work to him."

"They could have easily said we needed the concrete repaired/redone, but told us it would be fine by adding gravel to level it.  Very impressed that they could've went ahead and done the repair and charged for it but didn't.  It's very hard to find honest business anymore, but A1 qualifies.  Again, my husband and I are very impressed with the integrity of this company and the employees! <br />"

"Mike Rowe showed up at the agreed-to time for the estimate. The existing drive was pitched toward the garage, causing rainwater to puddle up outside the garage doors. Mike explained how he could pitch it away and get the water to run down the driveway to the street. Estimate accepted. The crew arrived at the agreed-to time & spent 1 day breaking up and hauling off the existing drive. The next day was spent laying down and rolling out the asphalt. The crew (with Mike much of the time) worked steadily and completed the job. Very pleased with the results."

"Mr. Holmes is very responsive and easy to work with.  I called his office after a bad hail storm in our area several months prior once I saw everyone in the neighborhood were getting new roofs.  Note:  I turned away all the "storm chaser / door knocker" roofers who came after the hail storm.  Mr. Holmes had done a small roof repair for us in the past and I knew he was the roofer for us.  Once I called Mr. Holmes, he was out to our house within a day to inspect the roof.  All I had to do was file the original claim with the insurance company.  Mr. Holmes took it from there for us.  He met with the inspector and I didn't even have to be here.  He is taking care of everything.  I watched him replace the roof of our neighbors house and was very impressed at the speed and cleanliness of their work.  Every evening he was out checking for any debris left in the yard.  I never saw any mess or debris.  Our neighbor's roof looks perfect.  I will write another or update my review once our roof is completed.  Awaiting the insurance check.  I'm sure it will looks as good as our neighbor's! <br />"
