"We would highly recommend BMB Painting to anyone! They are efficient, easy to work with, and they do high quality work for a reasonable price. We had all the walls and ceilings in our condo painted. We also decided to paint all the doors, frames, and baseboards. This was a fairly big job as they were starting from completely unfinished wood, meaning they had to sand everything and add primer and multiple coats of paint. Bernardo came out and quickly gave an estimate for the project. His team was able to do the project on short notice (starting a couple days after giving the estimate) and completed everything within the week. BMB Painting were professional and easy to work with: they showed up on time every day, worked within the hours they said they would, and cleaned up at the end of the project. They showed great attention to detail and we were happy with the quality of the work."

They strongly believe in preserving historical properties, while providing exceptional service and attentive care to architectural details so necessary in restoring and maintaining our structure. FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Winnetka, IL

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
