He met with me the day off to review the needs of my floors, came the next day sanded, and stained them, and was able to seal them the next day. They look brand new. Such a positive experience. "It could not have gone better. We recently bought a new place that had very old carpeting covering half the house. Although it is very hard to provide an estimate of refinishing floors when you don't know what is under the carpet, Mike was true to his estimate and his crew completed the job right on time. As with any job, there were some unexpected issues that needed to be addressed. Mike's team, and George in particular, were able to fix the problems (namely, wood HVAC vents and floor molding) at a very reasonable price. The best part of the job was that the master staircase was previously carpeted and was in pretty bad shape. After pulling up the carpet, Mike gave us some options on how to refinish and/or paint the stairs and risers. We had them refinish the stairs and risers (which cost a little extra), but now the stairs are a showpiece in the house. We couldn't be happier with the work that Mike did for us. We have now used him twice and would use him again in a heartbeat."

"We had our family room carpet removed and wanted to have the existing hardwood refinished. We had trouble getting someone to come out and give us an estimate because most thought of it as a "small job". Not Marius...came right out and gave us a great price. When the carpet was removed, they found too much damaged wood and dark wood plugs, so reworked our quote and they put new wood flooring in. The work is impeccable! "I submitted requests to over 15 contractors thru Angie. I had water damage to about 15-20 panels on my flooring. My request was for spot repair. Of the over 15 contractors, several contacted me saying they don't do spot repairs. Even more did not contact me at all. Marcel was the only one who contacted me who indicated spot repairs are not typically done and why, but he would be willing to inspect. Eventually, I decided to go with him and replace all the flooring in the entire unit (not just the kitchen where the water damage occurred). After pulling back the flooring in the kitchen, mold was unfortunately discovered. Marcel provided me with multiple solutions (loved that) to rid the mold and get back to the project. The multi-day project was completed in the estimated time (despite the mold setback). Marcel contacted me every day of the project to share pictures and progress. He also dealt with my buildings management company, parking situation, and tenant which can all be demanding at times. His crew cleaned up well and the unit looks gorgeous. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'll have another flooring project in the next 1-2 years and I sincerely hope I can work with Marcel at Rustic Flooring again!"
