"We recently added new countertops as part of an overall kitchen remodel. We initially visited Universal Stone in late March after the place was highly recommended by one of the kitchen contractors we considered. Universal's great indoor showroom in Shakopee showcases a nice assortment of full slabs on display. It makes the selection process far easier, versus looking at smaller samples. We worked with Kelly in the Sales Department, who was very friendly, cooperative and informative. She provided a quote to us shortly after our initial visit and was very responsive in all subsequent communication. As our remodel didn't commence until late August, we continued to look at a few other places over the summer. We eventually returned to Universal and made our final selection. The gentleman who stopped out for the measurement was very efficient and pleasant. After payment was received, the fabrication of our countertops was prompt and the full installation occurred within two weeks. The Install crew were polite and skilled. There were no issues with the install whatsoever. We opted for the Black Pearl Granite for the primary, larger countertop and the Invictus Quartzite countertop for a second free standing smaller cabinet. Once installed, both countertops looked great. I highly recommend Universal. They've got a nice product selection and their team provided solid customer service. Lastly, we found their overall pricing structure to be affordable and competitive. A job well done. Thanks for the great work!"

"From the very start, working with Cassandra was a delight.  She walked us through the different type of stones they carried and asked what we were using it for.  The measurement was quick and ontime.  During the measurement it was noted that our walls weren't perfectly even and that there would be a slight gap on the granite backslash  that could be filled in with epoxy.  The install went perfectly and we are thrilled with our master bath counter.  We would definitately use All American Granite again! <br />"

"Everything was great! Before the process began, Tim sat down with my husband and I to discuss our needs and the look we were hoping for in the finished product. Tim's expertise and knowledge led us to our final decision to use buckskin stone for our project. It is a beautiful stone, and able to withstand the weight we need it to support, considering that the tall wall has our patio / deck situated above it. Tim arrived early (but not too early) each morning and worked long days in order to maximize his time and accomplish as much as he could each day. He was respectful, and kept the work area safe, especially when he left each evening. We have three small children, so that was very important to us. The demo was quick, and Tim disposed of the old timbers and other "junk" that was once part of our retaining walls and got to work leveling out the dirt and prepping for placement of the new blocks. Watching the walls come together was fun for us. It went much faster than we anticipated, and the project was ultimately completed in a couple of weeks. We went with a variation of stone sizes on our smaller (shorter), terraced walls in order to add some dimension and pizzazz to an otherwise boring wall. Tim took extra caution to ensure his safety and the safety of our family during the project. Especially when he left each day, and needed to leave large blocks or fill (gravel) in our street for use the following day. We had to remove a panel of our fence in order for the bobcat to fit through, but it was easy to re-attach when the project was completed. (Added bonus: our kids loved watching the tractor work). We are thrilled with the completed product! We have received compliments from family, friends, and complete strangers as they walk past our home. Ultimately those compliments are directed back to Colonial Stone. Their work is fantastic and well worth the investment. I cannot say enough great things about this business! I would trust them to take on any future project I may have, as well as refer them to my friends and family."

"I bought their deal and then upgraded to have the carpets "restored". This is a deep cleaning above and beyond the normal because it had been years since my carpets were cleaned professionally. They did such a great job that I think I'll be able to get more life from a 20 year old family room carpet that I thought was beyond hope. Stains on my living room carpet that I had previously tried to clean and failed came right out. They are professional and explain what needs to be done. Definitely worth the upgrade. <br />"

"I initially contacted CK Tile and Stone in May and they said they were swamped as a result of their 'Big Deal' promotion $550 for 40 Sq ft of back splash till end of July (fancy designs, materials, could cost extra). We decided that we'd wait for things slow down for them. Then in July they said they had a cancellation and could fit us in. <br /> We had already purchased our tiles and we took longer to come up with a design for the section above the range while they were on-sitee. We had an additional area at the table next to the pantry that that worked on as well. This was a 2 day effort to let the grout/tile adhesives to dry. They were accommodating to our design ideas and provided ideas of their own. <br /> The overall workmanship and quality looks great! They cleaned up the left over debris and materials. They came back a 3rd day since we requested additional caulking and sealing (for the limestone tiles). We are very satisfied and would love to have them over to do the same when we decide to finish our basement! <br />"
