"The “Comfort Specialist”, aka highly trained salesman, Jared Reeves was very professional and informative. He even came to my house on a Sunday to quote a new AC/furnace system, and he answered several texts with additional questions I had before signing the quote into a contract. The contract laid out, in very clear terms, what equipment would be installed and the labor involved. Unfortunately, that is where Jared’s communication stopped, despite his (and Eanes’) promise to make anything that wasn’t done correctly on the install or the equipment, made right. The day of install started early at 8am and ran long to 9:30pm. I was home the entire day, and I checked in several times to see how the progress was going. The installers were great, but I did have to question (and convince) them to replace the drain pan when they informed me they were not going to put in a new one. A new drain pan was included on the signed quote/contract, as the original was rusted in several spots and clearly needed to be replaced. After convincing them to do that, I noticed that the new return plenum and furnace drop which was included on the signed contract was not being done. When I questioned that, I was told that it was not included on the punch order. Jared (the salesman) and I specifically discussed the new return and plenum during his visit, as the inside of the original return/drop was quite dirty and dusty, naturally and perhaps the M-word (moldy). I did not feel the installers cut corners, but the new return and drop box promised by Jared and included in the contact were a hard “no, that wasn’t part of the plan” from the installers. I sent Jared a text immediately to inform him, but I did not ever hear back. The sale was done, and so it seems was he (despite sitting in my dining room with his sales pitch, promising that anything not done right would be made so, on his dollar if needed). I emailed Jared and Eanes Customer Service several times over the next week, and I got zero reply. I asked for a refund of the cost of material/labor on the return/drop that was in the contract and not fulfilled. Updated as of 7/30/2024 All issues have been resolved."
