"I so wanted to move before we had to replace the roof on our circa 1960 architecturally interesting beast of a flat roof. But when we were doing what we thought were modest fixes to prepare for painting, we discovered a "squishy" roof and couldn't put it out. Thanks to suggestions from friends and info from Angi, we got 3 estimates from 3 great companies. All agreed the roof needed replaced, each suggested a different substance but all 3 prices were about the same. We worked with Tyler who educated us just enough to help us make an informed decision. What set the Frey estimate apart was they included a lower roof, gutters, new coping (we all know how these jobs seem to creep) and it was August and they said they thought they could get it done before the end of the year. Once you know you roof needs replaced, it seems like it rains every day and you want it done. He explained there were others before us, and Tammy kept us in the loop. Hand to God, in December, it was our turn. As promised, they got it done before the end of the year. I wasn't sure about having it done in December, but they worked quickly. We were updated about the schedule. It was Covid so we didn't have contact. When the snow melted we found very little roofing debris and they came out to pick up any materials that remained. We paid for everything, we were fine but then friends and neighbors pointed out the color we chose didn't work with the house. We chose white, but we didn't realize how much of the roof was roof and how much was white. I emailed my concerned, Tammy forwarded it to her people. Jason, John and Lyncs came back and were professional and kind and suggested a way to tone down the white. Again, I was updated and they replaced, covered over, I'm not sure what else and we couldn't be happier. It was our fault and we were fully prepared to pay for the extra supplies and time - but Frey Construction did it for no extra charge. Like I said, I didn't want to do a roof and I hope I never have to do a roof again. But if you need a roof, Frey is the company to go with. I felt they wanted to do a great job and wanted us to be happy and they did both of those things. A homeowner had to trust with a new roof. I don't think I'll ever see it, but I know it was done well. It's a quirky house with interesting architecture and a 50 year old roof that hasn't leaked. Previous homeowners thought about replacing it but didn't. I get it. We are so happy to have this in the rear view mirror and grateful to everyone at Frey's. If you think you might need to replace your roof, don't wait til August to contact roofers. But if that happens to you, go to Frey."

"Just did inspection of roof waiting for quote"

"The job was completed quickly and professionally. They really did a good job both protecting shrubbery by house and cleaning up any nails and debris after the job was done. They provided a folder with all the info I needed to know about them and their work, even references. They expressed a real concern for my being happy with their work, answering any questions I had or might have. And the price was more than fair. I would definitely recommend them."

"I am exceptionally pleased with the quality, care, and expertise of everyone at River Valley Remodelers. From the moment that Adam Reichenbach and Alex Jackson arrived to quote our roofing project, I knew my home was in good hands. I was constantly impressed by their knowledge, insight, and attention to detail; they clearly understand what is needed not only by code but also by the Wisconsin climate and wanted to make sure everything was perfect. During the construction process, I was wowed by the professionalism and efficiency of the team. We have a very large roof, an unused chimney we wanted removed, a damaged metal roof, and old shingles that had been hiding under the metal... and the entire project was done in two days. Lightning quick! I love everything about our beautiful new roof, and look forward to enjoying it for decades to come. I would highly recommend River Valley Remodelers to everyone thinking of home improvement projects and will be calling on them for all of my future projects (We're already on their list for a bathroom remodel!). Thank you SO much, River Valley team!"

"I canâ t say enough good things about this roofing company! Itâ s rare to find a team thatâ s so prompt and professional, using the latest technology to inspect and give clear estimates. Brad made the whole process of installing a new roof so easy and worry-free. His team was fantasticâ they didnâ t just install the roof with skill, but they also took great care in cleaning up afterward. Knowing the hassle and worry of finding stray nails for years (especially as a mom), I was incredibly grateful that Brad even took the time to walk the property with a large magnet for my peace of mind. Itâ s this extra attention to detail that really sets Brad and his team apart. Thank you, Brad, for going above and beyond! I wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone in need of roofing work. "Some of the negative problems a mess was left big chuncks of concrete under my furniture some stuff wasn't covered properly. Something very sentimental to me got broke i got told 'm sorry that happened they were told to becareful due to breakable items. They offered to come back & clean up all the mess that was left & fix some other issues. The two guys who came back for my concerns were very nice & respectful & addressed & fixed the issues. The installation team was very friendly as well but was the ones that left the mess & broke a item of mine I've had for 10 yrs. So very heart broke over that. Now just waiting to see how my basement holds up when it rains heavey or for days at a time."

"I hired Affordable Remodeling to replace the flooring in the living room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Also to replace the countertops in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms, to build and replace the main bathroom vanity, to replace 3 toilets, and to put up a backsplash on one of the kitchen walls. "Israel is very friendly and customer service oriented. He makes sure that you are in the loop throughout the process from decision-making to final satisfaction. The roofing job of a full two-story house and separate garage, as well as replacement of some rotted wood boards, was completed in just one day. The roof looks great and the company was responsive, punctual, and efficient. I had one concern that I found a few weeks after the install, and they were happy to come back and fix it for me quickly, at no charge! I would definitely hire again."
