They were professional and did a great job of keeping the area clean-while cleaning the chimney. The cost was the same as I've paid in the past with other companies. They did a camera inspection of both flues (I have two fireplaces that share a chimney) and found damage due to internal chimney fires. Fox Chimney helped me navigate through the claims process with my insurance company and I'm in the process of scheduling repairs to the flues and installation of a wood burning insert in one of the fireplaces. They will be doing that work as well."

"It was discovered during a fireplace insert project that the flashing around my chimney was installed incorrectly and leaked causing the wood to rot. Ganser came, matched the siding and did the work to replace all the wood etc. It looks great and the fireplace insert project commenced without a hitch. They were professional, courteous and, although were booked months out, actually were able to come earlier than expected. THEN Marc came and did an "Aloha" meeting with me to see if I had any questions or concerns. I will definitely call them in the spring to fix some siding problems (not related to their work)."

"Larry Schott and his crew were working on a home in a nearby suburb and could not get to my project right away but Larry stayed in touch and followed up with me to secure the job.  He worked closely with the stone company to custom cut new steps and they turned out very nice.  My only issue was that one of his crew decided to cut the bricks for the face of the steps in close proximity to where the mortar was being applied.  This resulted in the mortar having a red tinge.  Larry came back and took care of the issue and the end result is that I am satisfied. <br /> I found Schott construction to be very professional and conscientious and I would use them again. <br />"

They had to remove all the bricks from the roof up, replaced the brick, flashing and any rotten wood underneath/around the chimney area. Really nice team that did a beautiful job. Very well priced!
