"L&L made several visit including Saturday and Sunday to evaluate the job and made several suggestions as to the best way to replace the roof without any damage to the interior of our house.They promised to pick a good day to do the job and complete the job in one day. They arrived at about 7:30 AM with a crew of about 10 workers and had the complete roof replaced and the yard completely cleaned up before 4:30 PM. This included new lead flashing for the chimney and replacing 2 sheets of plywood. In addition they guaranteed the workmanship of the roof for as long as we owned the house. We had no problems at all.

"A soft wall due to improperly installed gutter by some other entity or homeowner caused water to constantly leak into the wall from the exterior roofline. This soft wall grow moldy and become riddled with pests/bugs. The contractor identified the potential issues, agreed to explore and open the walls and discuss the conditions, made sound recommendations for repair and did exactly what was noted in the repair (replaced a load bearing exterior wall, fixed the sill plate, completed the roof, shingles etc. and closed up the walls on the inside with insulation and sheet rock.). The work was timely, well done, the workers were clean as they did the job and kept the rest of the property clean. The manager of the job David Apel was and is an excellent communicator with phone/email/text and photos of processes and progress. I am going to use this company in my own investment endeavors on other properties and projects given the level of finished work, the timing and especially the level of detailed communication."

They don't subcontract out their roofing work, which is a big plus. Considerate workers, documented the new roof with photos and videos, and had everything cleaned up by the end of the day. "3 Son’s Siding & Gutters LLC did my roof about four months ago.They came and gave me a price that was more than fair…3 Son’s were very professional,work very safely.They stripped two layers, found that they had to get plywood and replace the whole roof, it was a bit more but they did the plywood, re-shingled the roof in the one day.i was very impressed with the way all the workers did what needed to be done. The job was done in a day and a half,all the mess was picked up went around the house with magnets picking up all the nails.All I can say I believe they are very professional, very concerned about how my property was left I think it was cleaner than when they started.Very good crew did a great job couldn’t be any happier. "Sammy’s Masonry has completed work for our family several times over the last 10 years. They have done roof, chimney, brick stair work. Most recently Sammy’s crafted a new sidewalk along with stairs and landing using bluestone, natural stone and pavers. He used the best quality material and quoted us a very good price. The staff is very conscientious, meticulous and friendly. They worked 3 full days and did a wonderful job. My wife is very happy with the final product. "I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house.
