"John and his team do amazing work. Built a stunning custom office space with a floor to ceiling library, custom cabinets and custom French doors that blended into our existing home design. I’ve owned a number of homes over the years and I’ve never worked with a builder more dedicated to quality and with more experience than Bay."

Small jobs welcome

"Jeff is a good general contractor who does good work that is not cheap. His subs are very good. His main worker Jesus is very skilled in what he does and is very conscientious. He helped us rebuild a small bathroom and most of our small kitchen. Installing an overhead kitchen fan/hood was very complicated but he personally helped get it done. His quality of work is among the best we have had done here."

"Craig and his team of subcontractors were professional, knowledgeable and timely in doing complete home remodel for me from October 2022-March 2023. Craig was in consistent communication with me, meeting at the home for regular progress meetings. As issues came up, he and his team were quick to work on solutions. After the project was done, he came back to fine tune issues as they came up and stayed on top of the details and getting the project finaled by the city. I am very pleased with my completely remodeled home."

"Dana was the foreman on a major remodeling project on our property. We added a guest cottage which involved excavating over 100 ft.³ of hillside, foundation, as well as construction. He also remodeled the main house extensively from a concrete pour to new roof, electrical flooring, fine carpentry and everything in between. Throughout the 2- year project, Dana was attentive to detail, honest, mindful of the budget and schedule, and collaborative on creating solutions. He is such a kind hearted person, and was a pleasure to have around the home. I canâ t say enough good things about String Theory Construction!"

Customers say: Quality work

"Jack with Structural Integrity is terrific. We had 3 vendors from Service Magic come in and provide quotes. Structural Integrity was the only vendor that actually listened to what we were saying we wanted to have done. Jack listened and tried to work within both our budget and our vision of the new closet. We are very very pleased with the work that has been done. We saved money, got what we wanted, and had contractor that did a great job."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Woodacre, CA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
