"I have a house with circa 1890's brick and mortar that once had seashells in it. David Ricard gave me a fair estimate to fill in mortar where a house brick was party broken by a telecom company and where some mortar fell out from an area a larger masonry company had repointed a few years before. David and his brother showed up on time, did the work in a reasonable amount of time, and cleaned up after. He showed that he understands different kinds of brick and the mortar required. I wish I had known about David before I hired that other company a few years before because the larger company didn't do a particularly good repointing job. I have upcoming mortar work needed on my front walkway and will be calling David for that repair. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to others."

"This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."

"Hired this company based on the home advisor ratings. Had them completely tuckpointing my 18â x4â walkway and 6â x5â stoop. They had to reset about 20 pavers and replace 4. Their estimate was 70% higher than my other estimates but I went with the ratings. Met with William Binn who put together the estimate. Had numerous discussions with the LLCâ s representative of record. Last time I saw or talked with Binn. Several â day laborersâ showed up. As with other reviews, one knew what he was doing the other less so. The section done by the knowledgeable worker is nearly perfect. The section done by the other worker has several mirror joint not filled level (up to 1/2â low), unfinished step vertical section joints and mortar covered brick. My major complaint is the experienced worker not QCing the job or the supervisor only showing up when I told the owner I would only pay the final 50% payment check to Binn or his field supervisor. Even with the supervisor on site, the deficiencies were not corrected. He came to collect the check not insure the quality of work. Overall the work was very good and have been excellent if a bit more attention to detail was provided by the owner of this family owned business or his veteran supervisor. I paid extra for quality and the quality fell short."
