"The kitchen renovation went very well. The process started with the designer. Deniz was great. He came in an looked at the space and had a conversation about what we were looking for and how we use the space. He then put together a design that he reviewed with us, and listened to all our comments and made those changes. He offered advice where he felt like we were going down a bad path, but also took or suggestions to heart. We ended at a really good spot. Jonathan came in at that point as the project manager. He was very responsive, the cabinets were delayed sure to would shortages and supply chain issues in 2021, but once they got going, things went really smoothly. They worked quickly and efficiently, they were polite and considerate. They blocked all livibg spaces from construction and cleaned every night before leaving to my minimize dust. We had one or two hiccups that they worked through seamlessly. Overall really good experience, including areas where we procured items independently from them. After most works was completed, we did a final walkthrough and list. They worked that off in a Tinley fashion and then we were done. The kitchen was modern, beautiful, and exactly what we were looking to end up with. Really great experience and would use again 100%!"

"the work went as scheduled. The cpunterer top installation went as planned. The tile back splash was done be the most competent installer I have seen. Not only does the tile look great but Seth the insaller took great pain to mawke sure the tile and grout finish was perfect.. He cleaned the kitchen and garage on his hands and knees after the work was done. Josh the salesman also took great pains and showed patience to help my wife and I find the right Quartz countertop material and matching tiles. Everyone connected with the job was professional and courtous."

"Issue #1: Started at first meeting in October 2014. Salesperson did NOT and consistently DID NOT HEAR what i was describing to him. Even with a wood sample.  He kept going on and on and the quality of their work. So, to save $10,000 in buying new cabinets we decided upon this option. <br /> Issue #2: Another person came out to finalize the measurements. Apparently Salesperson #1 did not LISTEN to what we wanted with replacing the drawers. They were just going to reface them. This would have left the drawers looking and working unbalanced and uneven and interiors being worn and ugly compared to the rest of the  "new stuff".  Salesperson #2 said it would be $450 extra to replace all the drawers with new ones. Wow. Ok. I needed them to work and look good. My old drawers have become crooked - since they were installed in 1988. I don't know WHY Salesperson #1 didn't suggest that at the initial meeting. <br /> Issue #3: We were to receive samples of the wood we chose and the color we chose. At the initial meeting, we told Salesperson #1 that we wanted a stain with grain showing, not a flat paint! We said this at least 3 times. What do we get as a sample????? Yes, a FLAT painted piece of wood with no grain showing. So, it takes another 2 1/2  weeks to get another sample. <br /> Issue #4: Approved sample. It is now the end of November! They said they wouldn't be able to come install until January! Yes, it took 3 MONTHS for this process start to finish. I could have received NEW cabinets in 6 weeks. <br /> Issue #5: Installation time. They had to build a new cabinet for over the refrigerator. It was clearly CROOKED! The bottom of the cabinet was 1 inch wider by the time you got to the top of the cabinet! AND where  the inside hinges were there clearly was a mistake and was all GNARLED up on the inside! HOW could a "craftsmen" leave such an obvious mess of a creation and not expect us to NOTICE??!?!? Seriously?!  It looked like something a high school shop student did.  We told them to replace the whole thing <br /> Issue #6: They did not tell us during the initial visit that the build-ups of the cabinets to reach the ceilings were just FRAMES! The interior and the back (wall exposed) were not finished. Now the inside of the top shelf of my cabinets are the ugly burnt orange color of the previous paint job. I could have painted that if i had known it would be showing!!!!!!! <br /> Issue #7: Upon final inspection 3 of the drawers were WAY off color to the rest of the cabinets. It looked like they were missing a coat of stain!!!! So, they ordered and replaced them  2 weeks later. <br /> Issue #8: We were provided a can of paint to paint the inside edges of the inside of the frames of the cabinets to match the outside.. really? I have to actually do work  on the cabinets i paid  $15,000 for ????!! <br /> The craftsmanship was definately was under par for what they told us. It seemed like they just wanted to get in and out without really taking a step back and looking at the work. Things still are uneven, but can't do anything b/c the laminate is glued down.  Salesperson didn't even follow up the week the workers were here to check how things were going. Once he received the check, he didn't care. <br /> If I had to make the decision over again, i DEFINITELY would have gone with NEW cabinets. I could have received them in 6 weeks, instead of a total of 3 1/2 months, consistent color, better workmanship and a lot less headaches. <br /> <br /> <br />"

They were also willing to work in Baltimore, despite the distance to their shop in Frederick. They were a pleasure to work with, and I would be happy to recommend them or, if the time comes, go with them again. The end result is a beautiful countertop and sink that makes an old kitchen look new. <br />"

"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"
