"I had two 25 year old Craftsman 1/2hp chain drives openers that needed to be replaced, and a 3rd one that was sporadically having issues. All were failing and getting touchy with remote and outdoor panel compatibility. She even made me aware of an online rebate offer through Liftmaster that scored me some other MyQ home automation for free. We scheduled my installation for a few days later, and the technician, Jim, was just incredibly knowledgeable and complete with all aspects of the installation. He is a detail guy so he took my hodge-podge and left me with a super neat and clean looking install. All new remote and sensor wiring, new metal bracing as needed, and the high quality light bulbs that handle vibration better than the standards. He also showed me how to program my exterior keypad before he inspected the doors, tightened up some screws and gave everything a proper lubrication. He then took away the old openers and left a spotless work site. The end result was incredibly quiet doors and openers with perfectly functioning remotes, keypads, and apps. I could not be more pleased."

"We called Tom who answered right away. Tom arrived on time. Tom is a wizard with broken locks. We could not get our closet door open because the lock latch was stuck. The lock screws were on the other side of the locked door, so we could not unscrew and remove the door knob and lock. Tom used his tools to slide the broken latch. The door opened. We did not have to replace the door knob because Tom fixed the latch part. The door knob and lock works good as new. The door knob and lock was 65 years old!"

We specialize in RTA (Ready-To-Assemble) furniture: All major brands; IKEA, Sauder, Bush, West Elm, South Shore, All the lines carried by Walmart, Target, etc, and the on-line companies; Amazon, Wayfair, Overstock, etc. We also assemble fitness equipment, outdoor playsets and storage sheds (assemble a Shed from a kit--Yes, build a shed from uncut lumber, not so much). We can also do disassembly & reassembly for moves within the greater Chicago area. Certificate of Insurance, or being listed as Additional Named Insured, available upon request. In 2015, we added picture hanging, mirror installation, and art installation as a service for our customers due to demand. We travel with specialty hooks, d-rings, lightweight picture wire, heavyweight (100 LBs rated) wire, and some aircraft-grade wire-rope rated at over 1,000 LBS. We do not charge for the small hooks, or for placing wire on the backside of lightweight frames. Artwork from IKEA, or on-line vendors often has no hardware at all on the backside. We have specialty levels, and we use the Yellow Frog Brand tape (delicate) to place our marks on walls. We also work with heavy wall items (i.e. large mirrors, wall sculptures, floating shelves, wine-racks, and the assorted DIY wall-mount garage and closet storage systems). We still mount Flatscreen Televisions every now and then.
