"They didn't really pay attention to detail. They slept paint on outlets door knobs window sills that another company had to clean or clear the paint so that I could open the windows lock doors and to use the outlets. They also recommended me to purchase an enormous amount of paint that I never used."

Small jobs welcome

"Very well, Leo provides the necessary attention to detail at a reasonable rate, which not every similar contractor will do. I would hire again and refer Leo to those I know."

"Reasonably priced. You purchase your own paint. Got the job estimate and completed within 1 week. Paint job done well. They patched up walls where needed. Clean up could have been better. Found paint from boots on stairs and floor through out room where paint job was completed. "

"I highly recommend Rob Smilow and his team for your bathroom remodel. Rob puts the customer first and is priced competitively. They do an outstanding job and are very thorough with their work. They were neat and clean throughout the project. Rob remodeled all 3 of my bathrooms and I couldnâ t be happier. Final project turned out great!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Yardville, NJ

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
