THE JOB: 
Mento gave us a window for the installation (within a week of us accepting the estimate) and they came to perform the work on time as planned. 
Mento installed the new driveway (replacing an old gravel driveway), removed the concrete basketball court, disposed of the landscape ties and a set of old precast concrete steps, graded, seeded our backyard -  and completed all of this work in one day. It was an impressive amount of work. 
COMPETING ESTIMATES:
We obtained three estimates for this job from local companies.  Mento provided the fastest estimate (came to see our project within one day) and also provided the most competitive quote.  The other two competing paving contractors gave a price that was substantially higher for the driveway installation.   Neither of the two competing companies were equipped to remove the concrete basketball court we wanted removed.  The other two contractors also told us we would have to handle the disposal of landscaping ties that lined our old driveway ourselves.
THE MENTO TEAM: 
Mento's project manager really took care of us.  He communicated the estimate, process, schedule and offered follow-up instructions (i.e. watering schedule, when we should drive on the driveway etc.).  He took great care in planning the installation during a time just prior to forecasted rain to help the yard along as much as possible.  He followed up to make sure we were satisfied with the work, and also provided some additional care tips for the driveway.  
The crew that arrived for the installation was 100% professional.  They arrived exactly on time as planned, were friendly (especially to a curious 3 year old), and left our property spotless.   They also applied additional loam and seed where they removed the old broken precast steps (something I hadn't though to ask for) and also applied loam and seed where the trucks had to drive across part of our yard to remove the basketball court.   
OVERALL: 
Our new driveway looks great, and we now have the beginnings of a nice grassy backyard.  If I could give Mento Landscape and Paving an A++ I would!  I would absolutely recommend them.
