We got a written quote for the pad and drive originally which included a military discount (3,600 total). My husband had mentioned to Donald that we were planning on resurfacing the rest of the driveway as well at some point in the future. "We have purchased many different plants and trees over the years from Scherz and have never been disappointed with them. The sales staff is very knowledgable as is every person we speak with there. We have returned plants a couple of times and there is absolutely no hassle about replacement and they also tell us what went wrong with the plant. "Our original plans were different from the final design. Paul Korody evaluated our plans and suggested changes due to the expense of what we originally asked for. We took his suggestions and ended up with a quote about half of what our original plan would have cost. Paul was professional and so were his crew. They showed up on a Monday morning and finished by Friday, completely to our satisfaction. Docked one notch for missing our first consultation appointment and not calling back by the next day. We almost passed them up because of this. All other criteria we were completely satisfied and would definitely recommend using them again. I did not rate them on price because we are unfamiliar with the landscaping business and other landscaping companies we contacted were unable to quote us right away due to their workload. The pricing did come in under what we had budgeted, so we were satisfied."
